👉 "Confessa" is a story of a man whose heart is broken after being betrayed by his lover, originally sung by the famous Italian singer Adriano Celentano. He was very proud, that Dimash his song sang... and then the blue alien-lady song… Dimash is the only person who sings this song flawlessly. He reaches the highs as well as the lows effortlessly and he delivers all riffs and runs and staccati accurately.🌼🇩🇪
When reactors are going through Dimash's performances on Singer 2017, they are usually suggested to play the Bastau performance along with this one because on the Singer performance Dimash replaced the hard alien-sounding descending run with that series of staccato notes. His voice probably wasn't 100% recovered from before Episode 8 "Daybreak", when he lost his voice. If you want to check "Daybreak" on Singer 2017, use the video from Gloria Wu's site. She not only provides Eng. subtitles to the song,which is in Chinese, but also has an intro which tells the tragic true backstory to the song, and shows Dimash talking on the phone to the woman who wrote it.(Be sure to use the "cc" button for the intro.) She also shows Dimash going to the hospital and getting an injection to his throat. There is also a version of this song on the Bastau Concert, which is a better vocal performance, and some people react to it after the Singer version in the same reaction video. I think the Gloria Wu treatment of the Singer performance, with all of the additional material is harder hitting emotionally than if you just watched the Bastau performance by itself. Anyway, that whole situation could still be having some effect on his voice, even though there were performances in between (like "All By Myself").
