Dimash is from Kazakhstan, and his native tongue is Kazakh and he also speaks very fluent Russian. This was composed for Dimash to sing at the flag bearing ceremony of the European Olympics Games in Minsk, Belarus 2019 as their opening song....whereas this particular performance was at the World Kazan Skills 2019. I was in his NY concert. I will not get tired of hearing this young man with that wonderful gift, I cannot believe that a single human being has so much in himself, passion, emotion, beautiful personality, a great heart, and a pure and unique technique. Love it! Also, a great coincidence and pleasant surprise happened to me Dec 9, in New York, day before the concert. When I was about to enter the NY library I saw Dimash's parents who were also entering, Dimash's younger brother was our translator ... that was a nice meeting..I had some photos with them ....❤❤❤❤

He is a 25 year old male from Kazachstan , his native language is Kazakh and they speak also Russian there. He is able to communicate in English too, and little bit Mandarin. He sings in 12 languages without speaking the language. He is a well trained singer with university degree, studying composition right now. He has 6 octaves usable range. He can sing in every Stile. He said ones that he is an ordinary tenor, BUT some professionals like Ken TEMPLIN call him DiSMASH😂 or Thirteener (ten from Tenor is not enough for him) and I would say, this a very, very rare voice gifted by god. Plus this young man, worked his butt off to get the most out of it. He knew from a very early age, that his only and most important purpose in life will be to sing like nobody else. Despite alle the criticism he got early in his career and the suggestion to stay at opera, he did his own thing, followed his own path. Dimash is from Qazaqstan and his language is the Qazaq language. Russian and Qazaq belong to two different language families. Russian is a Slavic language (an Indo-European lanugae, a subdivision of which is the English language); Qazaq is a Turkic language. Dimash, though, sang the song in Italian (another Indo-European language, but with roots in Latin). -- This performance by Dimash took place at Arnau, Nur-Sultan, Qazaqstan, in July 2019. "Ogni pietra" was composed by the Russian Maestro Igor Krutoi. He wrote it so difficult that only Dimash would be able to sing it. The Italian lyrics are by the Russian poetess Lilia Vinogradova. The debut took place at the 2nd European Olympics, Minsk, Belarus, in June 2019. It was the anthem of the Games, that's why it is sometimes called "Olimpico."

He’s singing in Italian. Kazakhstan language is Kazakh and Russian. So he is fluent in these. He’s learning English and making a try at Chinese, he has said Chinese is very hard too learn. This song was written for him to sing at the European olympics by Igor kurtoy. He is the one playing the piano. Dimash has sung several of his compositions that were written years ago. Dimash has won several awards singing these songs. He breaths new life into them. He won Classical Singer of the Year in Russia. He’s won song of the year at least once. As a singer, you really missed something by not checking out the fan cam for this song. Only a small amount of jiggle at the beginning. He is representing Kazakhstan because they are trying to get their artists known to the world. Dimash has a 6 octave range. He recently has been working with the Russian composer Igor Krutoy. He was offered a position with an opera house in his homeland and he turned them down. Michael Jackson Celine Dion, Andrea Bocelli, and Pavarotti are his idols. As you watch him you will see a lot of Michael Jackson’s influence on him. He has his masters in music and is working on his doctorate. This is an extremely well educated and talented musician. The way he sings Olimipico is so technically well done that some people seem not to believe he can do it, that there's something fishy, that it's fake. Well, their miss! He can, it's easy for him as you say. It so happens that he has trained almost his whole life and is a professional and an excellent one on top of that. And besides, he has a vocal range and singing abilities that make him a musical phenomenon that walks the earth only very rarely. We're lucky to exist in the same era as Dimash, very lucky. Kazakhstan is a former Soviet Union country therefore beside the native Kazakh language (Turkic language with no similarities with Russian) people speak fluent Russian too. They gained independence just 3 years before Dimash was born.

I’ve been a Dimash fan since he first performed SOS on the Chinese show I am Singer, he is the best vocalist in the world in my opinion and the opinion of millions of others but there is so much more to him than that. Dimash is an extremely humble young man with a great work ethic, genuine appreciation and love for his fans (Dears), massive love for his family and for his motherland Kazakhstan and he also has a great sense of humor, he’s the ultimate performer, the complete package! I’ve read several comments and you’ve been given some great suggestions but then again you can really never go wrong when listening to anything Dimash performs because he never disappoints or ceases to amaze. I would like to suggest the songs Know, Sinful Passion, Unforgettable Day(a song Dimash wrote & composed when he was 19) The love of tired swans, Mademoiselle Hyde and also Hello by Lionel Richie which was performed for charity on the Singer in 2018 the year after he competed, it will definitely blow you away. Also, Diva Dance from the movie The 5th Element & of course Opera 2 since you brought up Vitas in a previous video. I apologize for the long comment but I just want to add that there is another artist you should check out and his name is Hua Chenyu, he’s the most popular artist in China & he’s an amazing musician/composer, he performs more rock/rap and I know you will love him just as all the other vocal coaches and musicians do. Thanks for your reaction! Dimash enjoys 100% support from his parents and friends: his parents are both well known artists from Kazakhstan. As far as I know, he has not yet completed his academic studies, and one wonders where he finds time to tend to this aspect. He has an extreme soft spot for children, loves them, and occasionally it will be shown where he visits children/sick in hospital wards, with gifts, etc. He is much loved as a human being for his kind and caring nature, not to mention his voice-without-bounds!

Ogni Pietra Olympico is written by Igor Krutoy for Dimash. He is from Kazakhstan, classically trained from the age of five. His mother is an opera singer. His first language is Kazakh, a Turkic language. In Kazakhstan Russian is also widely spoken. He sings in around 12 languages, speaks two fluently (Kazakh and Russian) and is learning English and Chinese. I can recommend the songs Sinful Passion (Russian), Love is like a Dream (Russian), Adagio (English), Our Love (Chinese) and Kazakhstan (Kazakh). There are many more as well.

You need to watch the fancam version from a Chinese concert.......brilliant! It's only shaky for a bit and the equipment is quality, you see his facial expression more and he's not holding the microphone so you see his body language. He has the most control of his instrument than any other singer I have ever seen. He is a wonder to behold. And his stage presence is well beyond his years. From what I read he is also a very humble and kind person with a great sense of humor, doesn't take himself to seriously. I feel lucky to be lucky to be able to watch him grow. Here he is singing with his very beautiful, handsome and wonderfully talented parents. The people he is singing to on the front row are his grandparents and relatives. In their society, the first born son is raised by their grandparents. They are all so very close. There are even videos of him with his younger (babies) brother and sister and how much he loves them.

You should definitely go ahead and watch the fan cam version. The sound quality is not the best, but the camera work is pretty good. The main reason you want to watch that version is that the camera is centered on Dimash's face the whole time. It is probably the best video to watch to see EXACTLY what he is doing. Most Dimash videos get the crowd and the other performers, but that one is truly just him.

If it was the fancam of him in a dark outfit with 2 blue stripes you should watch that one but make sure you have the audio & video synched. This one was a little off because Dimash doesn't lip sync. He also takes out 1 earpiece when something big is coming. In Kazakhstan they speak Kazakh & Russian which are similar. This song & the second song Igor Krutoy has composed just for him, Passione are both in Italian & Dimash sings in 12 languages as well as plays 7 instruments. During Singer 2017 he played 3. Get stories & video with subtitles from channel Gloria Wu.

P.S. Igor Krutoy is a famous Russian Composer. When he heard Dimash sing, he came out of semi-retirement to compose for Dimash alone since he is a composer's dream come true. Meantime Dimash is studying Composing to get his Masters. Then I read he is going on to study lyric writing at the university. Meantime, he has composed some songs himself; his first being Unforgettable Day at the age of 17 or 18. You will find that song in Singer 2017. The answer to your other question is below. Dimash is excellent at composing but always has someone else do the lyric writing, for now at least.

Yes, he is indeed from Kazakhstan. The language spoken there is Kazakh, but the song isn't in Kazakh. Dimash is fluent in Kazakh, Russian, Chinese and his English skills have really improved during recent years too. He's sung in 12 different languages so far (as far as I know): Kazakh, Russian, Chinese, English, French, Italian, Ukrainian, Turkish, Serbian, Kyrgyz, German, and Spanish.

Yes. In Kazakhstan they speak 2 languages. Kazakh and russian. Dimash sings in other languages too. As italian, i am proud, that his pronounciation is almost perfect. Written for Dimash by Igor Krutoy as the opening anthem for the Second European Olympic Games, the song won Dimash Russia's Classical Singer of the Year award. Besides speaking native Kazakh and Russian, Dimash is studying Mandarin and English, has sung in 12 languages, and is working on his Masters in composition.

I only have to say, I wasn't into fancam before, like you. But then I discovered Dimash and his dears, and the quality of the fancams are sick. For the one you mentionned, the audio is not the best (it's still ok) but it's really close up, excellent video quality and not really shaky. As a musician, especially one who's trained, it's incredibly exhilarating and enchanting to find someone this damn good, isn't it? I was classically trained in vocals and played the flute as well. Actually, the fan cam is the best for its up close angle. Singing teachers prefer it because the fan cam shows inside his mouth really well that a lay man like myself actually can see and understand what they are talking about.

I've got a few suggestions for singers you might want to check out. First, there is Kim So-hyang, a Korean vocalist. She's often called the Mariah Carey of Korea. If you check her out, my suggestion would be her cover of a song called Everyone. I don't think I've seen a single reactor pick that as their first exposure to her, but I feel like that one is her absolute best performance. She is often heavily involved in the arrangement of the songs she sings, she has an incredible vocal range, her high belts are some of the best in the world, and her mix control is inhuman. Staying in Korea, there's a singer who I feel deserves FAR more attention than she gets. Song So-hee is considered a living national treasure in Korea. She is one of the best singers of traditional Korean opera, which employs a very interesting technique similar to a tremolo, where the pitch of the note itself wavers the way most singers employ vibrato. I would suggest her version of Haeundae Elegy (pronounced like hay-un-day). And then there's Morisette Amon from the Philippines, who is an astoundingly good singer. Most people request her song Akin Ka Na Lang (the A's are like the A in father, the I has an ee sound), which is a good choice thanks to a surprising moment (you'll know what I mean when you hear it), but she's all around an incredible singer too.

He is drawing on his operatic training, obviously, and with his 6+ vocal range, what can I say? His mother is a famous opera singer. He sings in 12 languages. After you react to a few more of his videos you may come to believe as I do, that he has no peers, and his talent is limitless.

Much closer and sound is in line with movement! You should look him up on Wikipedia; at the tender age of 25 he has more awards and accomplishments than most seasoned singers.
