Lacey was a one of a kind voice during that time period. So many great vocalists in metal/hard rock and along with the amount of pop singers at the time, she stood out so much. And to be a Christian band touring with bands like Korn, linkin park ect shows they were one of the first Christian bands to break into the mainstream. Their songs "all around me" and "again" are bangers you'd love.
I used to play this song a lot, and although I don't really listen to them anymore I still remember every word. Even after Lacey left Flyleaf I kept tabs on her solo stuff because I just love her voice. If you want more stuff like flyleaf, her songs State of Me and Rot is good, and on the softer end, I really like Run to You.
Lacey is so freakin cute! She’s this little petite woman with big vocals. Got to see her live back in 2016. She did her solo stuff but still played her Flyleaf hits. Absolutely amazing!
First time seeing your content. Amazing channel. You got yaself a new subscriber. And i always loved flyleaf. I love the message of this song. I played it for my daughter when she was going through a really hard time.
Life is pain, Highness! Anyone who says otherwise is selling something. -Westley Lacey Sturm is an incredible singer! I love her guest vocals on Take the Bullets Away by We As Human and Broken Pieces by Apocalyptica.
Lacey Sturm is an amazing vocalist and her story is inspiring. She was dealing with addiction and was going to commit suicide and happened by a church and something told her to go inside and did. It saved her life that night. Regardless of your belief or no belief her life was saved that night for whatever the reason.
haven't heard this song in a long long time. fun reaction, and interesting to know i still remember the lyrics ! sort of a niche ask, but i think you'd really appreciate fiona apple's live cover of elvis costellos 'i want you'. just an incredibly emotional and intense performance through and through.
YT just suggested your channel. Really like your analysis. You might like Opeth. I'd suggest a song called Porcelain Heart, but they have a very large catalog.
Love the channel Dave. It's like a little escape from reality & reminds me of being in school again learning about music. Wondering your thoughts on these two bands & their unique style: - Zeal & Ardor "church burns" "devil is fine" "death to the holy" - Dresden dolls (pianist/drummer duo. That's it. Your two favorites lol) "girl anachronism" "half jack"
