Music therapy isn't used to heal illness. An arm cast, for instance, would be something used to heal illness. It is incorrect statements like this that prevent music therapy from reaching the people it can possibly help.
It helps with psychological development. This isn't going to change their cerebrwl palsy and mental disorder, but it will help with their ability to express emotions, be creative, and with their coordination.
