Okay I'm late but yall are sorely mistaken, even before ISA interference the Helghans were monsters, executing anybody who disagreed with their way of life, the ISA HAD to kick them off, and spared them by letting them have an entire world to rule over, the helghast however got even worse, formed massive fleet and invaded the ISA, forcing the ISA to retaliate, the Helghans were always monsters.
