"This could use a violin." Best. Explanation. Ever. You guys are absolutely amazing and deserve couple more millions of views each. Seriously, this was wholesome and a great testament that you can make someone's day with music. I almost wish you managed to snag enough reactions and maybe even just talks with people to make those slightly longer? I wonder if this is just 'algorithm pandering' or if you're trying to cater to people with OAS (Omegle Attention Span) but because those reactions seemed cut off and video was just sligthly above 10 min WITH ad break, it felt like it was over before it even started. I'm assuming you and Frank have a lot more footage between your two channels and I'm looking forward to watching and hearing more of you two making omegle a brighter and musical place.
Yes, retention drops off as soon as I start playing, funny enough. I’m going to start a Patreon with extra and longer footage, might be something you’d like! In any case, thanks for the nice comment and I appreciate you watching.
@@RobLandes I'm really late on this one but that really surprised me! Is it possibly a long standing fan base particularly enjoying the content from guests? Anyways, amazing videos from what I've seen you obviously have a lot of talent and have put in a lot of hard work on top.
You and Frank collaborate so perfectly! It's like you know what the other is going to play before they play it. Incredible musicianship. These are so much fun to watch!
I mean, I guess you can play baseball shirtless in a cowboy hat. Maybe they were headed outside right after the Omegle session? Who am I kidding, that night devolved into a Tarantino movie 20 minutes later.
@@srt4b because his music is high quality but often outside the hip hop scene Tyler isn’t consider as good as he really his. I understand that people could dislike the genre but the quality provided is objective. I’ll make just one last example, I don’t listen to metal but I understand the quality provided by slayers or Metallica ecc
Looking at the astonished or surprised faces is simply priceless. Music touches. If you don't believe that, just watch your channel. Please continue and thank you.
6:30 the G7 is like substituting a Db7 because they share the same tritone (B,F)! It's called an alternate fifth, and it's very common in jazz! Very cool stuff. Props to Frank for figuring it out even though he's unfamiliar with the concept!
I can't get over the fact that frank didn't have any footage of him playing raid, so he just held his phone watching you play raid, and they accepted that, lamo
When a man is willing to parachute to your house to create amazing music, you know you have found a friend for life, ahahaha. Rob, your content and positive energy is a guaranteed smile-producerer (that's probably not a real word, but...now it is) and the banter is always hilarious.
The reason why it is even more incredible is that they can't think it is fake. It's one out of a million so if i said a song not many knew of or couldn't have transcribed music for and was pretty new there'd be almost zero way for them to know it before hand. AMAZING
I just can’t get enough of these duets. These are my two favorite instruments and the way you two play them helps me feel all the emotions I thought I lost in war. Thank you guys for sharing all of this
This was beautiful! You guys are an amazing duo and perfectly in sync with each other, making me tear up in several parts. The talent is, honestly, inspiring. SO happy this came in my recommended. I also died when that guy got up and started dancing😂
This goes to the duo.. You guys are spreading joy via internet to all the ppl .. it warm my heart watching you guys... sometimes tears... not to mention how inspirational to many youngsters to be interested in music...
As much as I adore their reactions and hearing your music It's when you both celebrate or talk about the song together afterwards that really hits my heart. Love the passion between you two for music, its smile inducing
I'm glad you saved a few scenes that weren't included in Frank's video, makes it feel more like OC. Keep it up, definitely the best part of my morning so far.
Rob I’ve been watching your videos for a while now (and also Frank’s) but I just realized I wasn’t subscribed. Please keep spreading love and happiness. These videos make my days so much better. Going to work with a smile on!!! ❤️
I'm literally obsessed with these guys at the moment. That last song was wkd - almost as good as the recent Roslyn cover from Frank's video! Please please please start recording as a duo!
GEEZ, do you guys ever flop one? Gorgeous EVERY time...you two work so well together. I don't know what it is with you two and that combination of instruments but it moves me, frequently, a lot. ESPECIALLY for off the cuff after a quick listen, that part is just ridiculous. And yeah, that one chord progression was very nice.
@@swyxTV Yes, obviously. But they still have to choose some number of videos to put up for their posting frequency, or timeframe. The ones they choose to upload are dependent on their work AND the quality of the responses, and they get skipped many times for each completed attempt, more time 'wasted'. Then there is the time to choose and edit them individually and together, and the improvised outcome has to be of high enough quality, not so much the playing, as they are both of stellar performance levels, but of how well the duet improvisation came together. Hopefully you get my drift, now.. But yeah, ultimately what you said is true, it's just not really what I was speaking to. I guess the best way to sum it up is to say that the final output is extraordinary in each case, IMHO. You could take MANY of these types of folks on YT and it wouldn't matter how long they had to produce musical content at this level, it wouldn't happen, in most cases from what I've seen, ever...and I liked every one of them. I've seen music channels with absurdly large popularity that from a musical difficulty and performance sense, turn out absolute crap. Make more sense now? Look up the violinists bio...you'll see why. I didn't look up the pianist, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was similar.
Nothing's gonna beat a live performance. Would really love to see all their versions of these songs in full version :, especially the tyler the creator one! A friend of mine just introduced me to his songs but hearing it from instruments that bring me home fits my style a lot better. The fur Elise was very interesting, hearing it with an improvised violin bit was a pleasure
Subscribing solely for that last song, been subscribed to frank for over 2 years because I like piano music, but I’m not super into violin although that last song changed my opinion on that. The others were great, but the last one was something I could rewatch over and over again. I didn’t even know the original song, but your version is 100 times better. Thanks for putting in the work sifting through random people and then editing through it all, and I’m looking forward to more music like that.
Absolutely love when Frank and Rob come together like this!! These two would be epic together if they played some Phantom Of The Opera !! Great video , cannot wait to see the next!!
There are people that that can play an instrument, then there are talented people then there are these guys, holy crap, just amazing. You guys could seriously go on AGT and request a song from the audience and just play it, the judges jaws would drop! Throw in the Doo for good measure and you could be the greatest band ever created.
I watch cuz you never phone it in. Cool to hear you and Rob discuss intriguing progressions in that song. Most Omegle music channels get boring because they don't have chops or theory down, but your rearrangements are out of this world. I only wish more reactors would dance.
Great video Rob! I’d love see some more stuff wit Chris the pianist as you are both amazing musicians and and make great content when you do stuff together.
So is Frank of course! Wait… surely you couldn’t… do a trio. Love all of you guys’ music and I think that Chris definitely deserves more than 5K subscribers.
The reaction at 5:25 is what we all hope we can surprise someone with at some point in our lives, and y’all do it every video. Amazing, let us continue living vicariously through you!
You guys are such a great duo!! I really hope you plans to to do my things together in the future love all the past videos you've done together as well so amazing!!
