Musical M&D - twin speed Leopard 2816 

Recreating Southend Corporation Transport ‘single deck rota’ Leopards around Leigh-on-Sea from Leigh Station in 2023!
Former Maidstone & District twin-speed rear axle & pneumocyclic gearbox Leyland Leopard PSU3/1R /Willowbrook 2816 (OKO 816G) takes a short run around for filming with grateful thanks to Ross Newman.
Gearbox ‘notes’ in 1st, 2nd and 3rd gears are almost identical to those of the ex-Glasgow CT 1956 Leyland Royal Tiger Worldmaster RT3/1s 210-4 (FYS 677-9/86/72) acquired by Southend CT in 1966.
The bus had just been for MoT test after acquisition by the PF Collection and so hadn’t been refitted with its wheeltrims (and also was due a wash too!)
