Arijit is not overused. He sang very few songs in 2023 like Phir aur Kya Chahiye, Satranga, Chaleya but whatever he sang turned out to be a chartbuster and it is played even now. For instance a song like Phir aur kya chahiye with average music and average lyrics could never have been a hit if it was not Arijit's terrific singing.
I am a music composer, tried making it in the industry. But mujhe break mila hi nahin . Now I make jingles in Canada for local businesses. But thats fine . I guess it’s Destiny
SK : Why the film songs are so short lived now ? The main reason is that nobody has so much time to make those soulful numbers The style of composition changes every ten years and in this era even faster . The financials of Films and Film songs are predominantly dependent on the young generation who are active on Insta , RU-vid and TicToc. That’s why everyone is catering to them only . And these youngsters are basically influenced by western beats and arrangements. So the very soul of real Indian music is missing somewhere. The lady “ Melody “ which used to rule Indians for more than fifty decades is lost somewhere now.
top actors fees 200 crore. top music artist fees 20 lakh. no difference. the money khans have they can buy 1000s of Arijit and throw money at him and make him sing in there toilet

I think Sid, you should really ask about financial matters with the real person who gives money, like production houses and music directors as to why they don't give proper renumeration to singers and other song writers. They must be having their own reasons.
What is meant was to clear these issues, you should talk to real elephant in the room and clear these issues once for all. So this video will be in library for cross verification for future discussions.
I don't agree with you.if someone is capable to do more songs and also if it comes out a chartbusters, then I don't think people will have problems .and just by trying to prove a point you blunders your own thought. arijit songs are only 50 to 60 that gets released in an year but 80 percent among them becomes chartbusters.so appreciate talent rather than finding odds on people's hardwork
