Paul Barton is a gem - have missed seeing him recently -- he wants to benefit the animals - give them joy- Looks like the mischievous wild monkeys had fun- - the elephants love him - always great to watch- thanks Paul-
I was surprised by the lack of awe. I guess these monkeys have been so conditioned to humans I guess much of the novelty has worn off. I wonder how actual wild monkeys would react.
I wouldn't say so. There were at least 10 gathered around him at any given time, with more than a hundred sitting within eye/ear shot. This statement also ignores the economic situation of either party. Being that one group is recovering from cruelty, neglect and malnourishment and is currently none of these things, while the other group is currently suffering from all of these conditions.
I've been following Paul's channel for years and supporting him on patreon. He's hands down one of the best classical pianist performer and teacher on youtube! Great to know he's being covered on the news! Keep doing what you loved Paul! You're an amazing soul!👍🏼🙏🏼
Sometimes I play some old Rage Against the Machine to my hamsters. They seem to like it. They run around a lot and once or twice I've caught them beating their little fists against the wires of their enclosure. Never underestimate the intelligence of animals!
Are we going to ignore the fact that when one of the monkeys knocked the music sheet over another one hopped on and started yelling at him and hitting him??
Looking for a woman that enjoys walks on the beach, going to the movies and playing piano for wild monkeys in Thailand....put that in your Tinder profile.
It depends on the emotion of the music. Humans listen differently, intellectually. Music for animals should be clearer emotion. Not classical. Ambient like Winston.
Both those monkeys and elephants are used to human interaction. The human poses no threat in any way, quite the opposite, he's doing something interesting. And they are free to leave at any time, no one forces them to be or stay near him. So why should they? 😉
