There are a load of incredible performances showcased in that video that are worth a full watch. :D Yes, G7 is very much on the piano (and rivaling Mariah Carey’s highest whistle note), but the D8 that he spontaneously hit live in Unforgettable Day (his original composition) at Gakku is very much NOT on the piano, and one of the highest notes ever hit by a male (THE highest, I believe, live in concert and not in a recorded setting specifically for that purpose - also the only one sustained and with vibrato!). 😄 One note higher than the highest key on a full-size piano. If you like these compilation videos, I believe there’s also a new one showcasing his entire known vocal range (we know he’s not shown us everything!) as of 2022 floating around now on YT.
