At the age of 5 she was still traumatized and unable to speak properly. A massage therapist who visited the orphanage trying to help kids, was the first to recognize something special in this little girl, and eventually adopted her. Diana was sent for singing lessons because it was thought that this might help her learn to speak without impediment. She's basically a talent of the ages imo. You can tell it in the faces of the guys "judging" her. I mean, they do their job, but inside they are shook by such a huge talent. They know that, no matter how much you try to get there, that level of artistry is a divine anointment, reserved for the receiver.
