Yes that is definitely Finneas whistling...he also did it during another live performance of this song. Finneas has said he loves allowing Billie to have the spotlight and that she deserves it. He also said he wouldn't want the amount of fame Billie has. They have such an amazing supportive relationship ❤️

”Billie Eilish” is about her vision and he helps with the music. The topics are hers along with the visuals, directing the videos and staging etc. He helps execute her music vision like a music producer. He has his own solo act and record deal. He gets the same production, big publicity, appearances on all the major talk shows etc but he is simply nowhere near as popular thus far. I believe it was his choice to market them separately - he has a very different vibe. It’s obvious to see why she is “solo” when you see her live. She has ridiculously large stage presence and it would be hard for her brother or anyone else to match. He has 8 Grammys and lots of money and recognition- his life is fine.

Finneas has said before that he doesn't feel that it's his music because it is her story. He just helps to make music how she wants it and bringing her stories to life. When he writes and produces for himself it is different.

Billie/Finneas used the Brazilian rhythm (bossa nova) that was widely listened to in the 80s/90s, it is part of MPB (Brazilian popular music), a singer she was inspired by was Caetano Veloso, who even quoted her in a new song, said "Billie Eilish does everything" hahaha, thanks broo, saludo from Brazil❤️

About your question why they're not a duo or billed equally, Finneas is open about not wanting the spotlight. Not just with Billie but he's produced for Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, Ashe, and so on but prefers to stay behind no matter the artist.. But the reality is a lot more complicated because of the various copyrights issues, management issues, performance issues, royalties, etc. One music exec did a very lengthy podcast about them and concluded that what they did (to separate the two and getting separate managers, bands, touring staff, and so on) will ultimately help them avoid getting duped in the long run. You have to also take into account each is a songwriter, singer, instrumentalist, stage performer, actor, model, director, producer, editor, and many other specialties in fashion and apparel design whose royalties and work contracts vary widely. Each also operates in different markets, Finneas more local, but Billie is one of the highest paid global fashion models. Each needs a different kind of representation. Lumping them both as a duo wouldn't do justice to either.

Good points all, but what I think it came down to, at least early on is that Billie wanted to be famous, and Finneas didn't.

Actually, Finneas said in a recent interview (at iHeart Radio), that in the beginning he had to push Billie into pursuing a music career. You have to remember, her first love was dancing, she wanted to be a dancer.

As for your question about why Finneas doesn't get his name included in the Billie "product", my guess would be because they both planned to do their own solo thing. He's there to support with love, but he doesn't need to ride coattails.

Weird question watch some of their documentaries. Finneas prefers his position and he supports her, when he wants his name on something he does his own thing solo. He is the producer co-writer and composer. first an foremost when he works with his sister.

I think Finneas wants a long-term career as a producer and a song-writer. He has set this up so they can have separate careers. As long as she was so young, it made sense for her to always have time on stage. Her fan base has many very young girls (says a 70 year old fan here!). I think Finneas set this up this way for the long-term, not just this first crazy ten years of her career. IMHO. It does keep his life more manageable than Billie's.
