This may be my favorite song on the new album. Every part is great. But when Brann comes in with the “Say when and I’ll come running back” (not sure if that’s exactly what he says), I get the chills so hard. So much emotion.
This song is a masterpiece, album as a whole is awesome, very dope and diverse album, a lot of cool sounds in there. Brann Dailor the drummer is also the lead singer on this song, Troy the bassist also sings too tho. Anyway good stuff man, more mastodon would always be great, they have an incredible discography. Roots remain is an incredible one with a god tier solo at the end and some killer riffs, highly recommend.
I really appreciated this kind of reaction video. I love that you didn't pause it every 4 seconds the way so many people do and you just reacted naturally to the song in full, the way a song is supposed to be listened to
"got the goosebumps" as I also get the bumps at the same time, every time I hear the song. It's always nice when you meet someone else who gets it the same way.
Saw them perform this live before I ever heard the record. The guitar sound cut through like it was coming from inside my own head and it made my hair stand up. Highly recommend you see them live.
Awesome reaction. I'm glad you like this band. They're one of my favorites. Also, that "Great job" was right out of Tim and Eric and it gave me a great laugh. Thanks again!
The solo is one of my favorites. Have you ever reacted to cafo by animals as leaders? Or crater by earthside? Both are incredible songs that you'd probably enjoy.
Instantly subscribed to this channel, and checked out some of your reviews. Great reactions! Would love to see you react to Opeth - Blackwater Park. My all time favorite song
I gotta admit that the intro isn't my favorite...could have been shorter, but,...that's the only criticism I have of this masterpiece....the video should be in a motherfuckin time capsule...we should probably shoot it off into space soon...haha
