Definitely rewatch with the cc on. For yorushika music the lyrical content is what’s most important. He writes the music around the lyrics so lyrics aren’t hindered by the melody. Keep on enjoying dude :)

I’m more of a rhythm guy and I love to appreciate just the charm on that piano it really was the foundation for the rhythm and every stage it was so synchronized that the bass was like a backbone for the guitars

This song is from Amy's (boy) perspective on music. You can also see Elma's (girl) perspective in a song called "Nautilus". Because the two albums have a story linked to each other. You should check out the diary/novel about this album too. Sorry for my bad English. Love your content btw. Subbed🤘👍

Too many songs are linked, but I like looking at Deep Indigo -> That's Why... -> A Hole Opened up in my Heart, because more than being strict in their temporality they continue an idea, from "You're my music" to "It's your fault" to "It's music fault/Now I understand what 'You're my music' means"

this is one of those songs where if you dont watch with captions, you'd miss out a lot. especially as this is a song from the perspective of a -suicidal- person. Like, "Why do I hate people who put on happy faces? It's an inferiority complex blah blah"
