Sliver Light definitely sits at the same table as Cyberpunk and Take Me Home. Hoping ATEEZ always create one of these in the next coming album. They sound so good in this genre.
@@emmylia Maybe people didn't know that This World falls under the same synthwave category as the others? Idk🤷🏻♀️ For me Silver Light gave the closest vibe to This World, both of these are so movie-esque, feels like a film ost, very cinematic like you can see the song pictured in your mind✨
I really like silver light like it gives you a different feeling, this is the typa song that is made for night rides , it gives futuristic and cyberpunk vibes And they are so good at producing these typa songs And thanks for the reaction ✨
I don't think I would rearrange the album in any way. The World Z songs (the ones before Crescent 2) tell a clear story: Warning, Execution, Celebration and Farewell

I'm really enjoying that you're having more discussion about the music lately. I'm not an audiophile so I can't really see much of the makeup of the song, so it's interesting that someone can help me put it in perspective. One thing I was hoping for was reacting to Crescent pt 2 right after Silver Light because it's more of a closing to the main songs than an opening to the unit songs. I think one thing to remember is that the main songs and the unit songs should be considered two separate parts of the album and that's maybe why people get confused about the sequence of songs. I think this album tells a story more for me than the Outlaw album did.

My favorite from this album currently(*subject to change with my mood). And yes, Cyberpunk and Take Me Home are amongst my favorite songs. Ateez really nails these synth wave songs.

Silver Light is my favorite on the album. The lyricism and the way it flows with the lore and overall flow of the album is as refreshing as sitting at the beach at night (which is perfect with crescent pt2 being next). As for the progression and order of the tracks, it definitely took some getting used to for me, but looking at the lyrics, i got to see exactly why it was put together the way it was. We Know staring it off with lines that feel like they're talking to the enemy and knowing they've got the upper hand and HongJoong ending it with "my mic's on" basically telling us to pay attention to what's being said. Emergency, Crazy Form and Arriba all feeling like just controlled madness and fun. Then with Silver Light tying it back to the lore even closer, reminding me of Halazia as well with the "be the light" lyric and being a reach for hope and slowing down the pace for Dreamy Day. The album is amazing to say the least
listening to this song I immediately imagine space And thinking about the end of Crazy form mv and all of this moon theme and their last live stages with space ships and stuff I think we're going to space??? finally leaving the Earth??? (space pirates? cowboy Bebop????) I know that second part of album takes place in the world A, but God, I need space theme so bad......and knowing Ateez there aren't any consequences
the melody and the rhythm of silver light is so smooth and light but the lyrics HITS you very hard, the lyrics are so dark and light at the same time, i don't know how ateez do that every time, its so awesome.
My thoughts are these tracks are supposed to be transitional. As the end of The World series, theyre moving from the hard, aggresive, FIGHT The Power spirit into more introspective, emotional songs. Thats why the final words spoken are "What does emotion mean to you? Weve fought our battles now where are we going. Silver Light is "We found the light." Crescent Pt 2 sounds like a ship docking at your destination. Dreamy Day is after all the trials we are still all together. Every day. Every way. Which allows for the unit section. Where they are separate and, expressing emotions they werent able to before. In my opinion.
Interesting that you mention Crescent pt2 sounding like a ship arriving at your destination, bc for me it's kind of the opposite. So you know how in the Illusion MV they leave through a cave that appears to be coated in aluminum foil? Crescent pt2 makes me think that it's what they exited into. They go through the cave, into dense forest, and as they wander through they come up on a beach and are greeted by a ship waiting to carry them home

The inspirational progression, the modern retro SYNTH and the synth notes, layering, and placement. Fighter, never give up vibes and Ateez putting it all together in their way. The musical technicality, the vocal, vocal line, vocal layering , and background vocal arrangements and placements, the effects, the everything. I LOVE this song, especially the chorus. I wouldn't change the order of the album only bc to me it gives a conclusion to the world 1-2 with songs for world Z (we know emergency crazy form arriba) with a final call back (reflection) with silver light leading us to crescent part 2 which serves as a transition dreamy day which is a thank you to the fans who've followed along on the journey so far (plus it's totally a concert song) and then the unit songs which show us new sides of the members/emotions that weren't able to express while in the world series/a hint at what's to come as they prepare to go back to world A. it's the perfect blend of halateez and ateez, to me. the beginning of the end and an end to the beginning.
I was so excited for your reaction to this, was literally counting the days! It is my favorite song of this album, which surprised me as I am not so much into the synths usually. But this song just tickles something in my brain. My absolute favorite part is the verse two. the rap, paired with that beat change, just amazing. I always enjoy your videos, I feel you guys experience and appreciate Ateez from a very different perspective, which makes your reactions all the more interesting. well, Eunkwang's rapper name is silverlight. XDD same, everytime i read silverlight title, Eunkwang face always come to my mind. >_< i kinda wish to see Eunkwang reaction about ateez title song. hahahha
Interesting how ateez mentioned silver light being cyberpunk no.2 but it felt like take me home more to me at first. Though I get why it gives similar vibes to cyberpunk, it’s a good mix of the two.
