the call/response in this always get me. Not just Yunho/Yeosang, but the back and forth raps between Hongjoong and Mingi. That and the sheer vocal beauty of the song... I love this one so much.
TURBULENCE is the song that made me atiny. I cried listening to the way their singing with their hearts & reading the lyrics. It was sooo relatable to us teenagers or anyone at one point of life 😢
same! i was a casual listener of their hype songs and turbulence came at the right time as i was going through a rough patch. the song made me feel less alone. atp i needed more ateez ballads so i went through their entire discography
Turbulence is my Queen 👑 I saw Ateez in Oakland CA on the 17th! They always put on a masterful performance! I literally broke out sobbing when they sang this song. They dedicated it to Seonghwa who sadly just lost his grandfather. It was a beautiful moment.

I love Turbulence. Its a major favorite of mine. The harmonies, the gentle but urgent vibes, the clever hiding of Wave in there at the end. Thanks for the production insights. I never noticed how they used vocals as instrumentals in here before. What a subtle inspiring and heartbreaking song. (It's also on my fave album in thr Fever series so I might be a little biased😅.)
Turbulence was my first real favorite song from Ateez, I fell in love with Wooyoungs voice and he has been my favorite ever since❤️So happy you finally got to hear it!🥰🙏🏼
The live version of Turbulence hits different. I’ve always liked Turbulence since it was released, but I didn’t fall in love with it until I watched a video of them sing it live.
While I think Turbulence has more emotional impact, I think one of the songs that ateez shines more in(vocally) is Be With You... ateez honestly has so much hidden beautiful vocals that i hope others will recognise soon
This song takes me back to 80’s rock ballads. The first time I heard it, it gave me cold chills. Then I read the lyrics. Not sure if you noticed but the last bar was from Wave-a sort of shout back to an earlier era. This is also one of Wooyoung’s favorites. When they sing it he experiences it like a fan as well as a performer. A Turbulence Wooyoung fan cam of a live performance is a must.
This belongs in my top 5 favourite Ateez title tracks list ❤ It was on repeat for dayysss when it dropped. And i rmbr how it won over many non-fans then. They were like, Ateez can do this?!? 😂 of cos of cos. Ateez can do everything. They are powerful stage performers AND they can make us emotional with their vocals
This is the song that made me a full K-Pop convert and cemented my feelings for Ateez as a group. I had never heard K-pop before i came across Ateez and i was slowly listening to what i could find Deja Vu/Eternal Sunshine was my 1st comeback and this came like a couple of months later iirc The way this song broke my heart, but put it back together, told me all i needed about them. These 8 would have my heart forever. It also solidified what i had coined Choi Bros Supremacy, the way San and Jongho melded so perfectly and powerfully in that high note, gives me goosebumps every time. Everyone did so well on this Also i still think this is the only MV to date where everyone is isolated from each other, adding further weight to the yearning in the message of the lyrics. Plus the nod to Wave at the end was just a beautiful touch
