I don't listen to xikers but this song was in my recommended a while back and the title made me listen. I was shook. I couldn't believe this was ATEEZ's little brothers. They sounded like 4th gen idols with the skill, flows, beat and the lyric play. This song is literally insane.
Supercalifragilistic was the song I was looking forward to the most when I watched the preview of the tracks before the album dropped. Break a leg ended up being my favorite song due to it's genre, but Supercalifragilistic remains a close second. I'm obsessed with this song. Specifically the second half of the chorus and Sumin's rap in the bridge. I go nuts every time it comes up

I think there actually is something to the Mary Poppins connection!! If you think about xikers lore so far, Tricky has been sending them on missions. Like how in Do Or Die they got dropped into a game and had to beat it, right? Apparently in this album they go on their first real mission as opposed to training, so they're out of the tutorial. This makes the "outside is CG, not me though" in Red Sun quite meaningful, too, but what I want to point out is that the Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious song in the 1964 Mary Poppins film is during a scene where Mary Poppins, Bert, and the kids have jumped into a chalk drawing on a sidewalk that acts as a sort of magical alternate reality! They stroll through the cartoon countryside, ride a carousel, participate in a horse race and have a ton of fun until a storm washes the chalk away. So my theory is that they're correlating that jumping into alternate realities phenomenon by using this word! And maybe the sun coming up is their time limit for these missions?? They keep mentioning it!
Such a banger. I love both Red Sun and Supercalifragilistic, each one has It's own way of serving. But if i had to pick only one, I'd pick Supercalifragilistic just because of the instrumental, I loved it even before the whole song was released.

The whole album goes hard! But all in such a different way! But the thing for Supercalifragilistic for me is that it goes hard but in like a softer tone? So it hits so different! Honestly so far, I think this is the album of the year for me!!!
Maybe its because im still riding the high of Ateez at Coachella but i cant help but feel like this song would go crazy at a music festival. I really hope Xikers get the chance someday!
These kids are honestly something special! I was skeptical when KQ announced a new group but Xikers has been wowing me since day one (goes to show that I should really have had more faith lol) I have to say that they were touring with Ateez during their last Break the Wall tour, and I got to see them live before they had even been given a group name and I was INCREDIBLY impressed by their performance skills; they hadn't properly debuted but they were performing at what (to me at least) was easily deserving of a professional level of recognition! They have a very unique sound that compliments Ateez while remaining entirely their own as well, and imo each comeback they just get better! I really hope they'll gain the recognition they deserve, because they really should be seen as one of the leaders of the 5th gen groups!
