I'm more of a 2nd gen stan and I dabble a bit in 3rd gen, but this song is legit one of the best kpop songs I've heard in years. It proves to us that you don't need the main vocalist belting sky high notes to make a good song.

this song is GOD TIER. like the interplay between major and minor, reminds me so much of carnival music??? The avoidance of the 3 in the bridge leaves it feeling open, so you need the bass progression reintroduced in the return of the chorus. The intro and first portion just hits so strong, especially with the M/m play. It's too good.

Not gonna lie, this past two weeks my mind has been going back to the daze, daze, daze part! It is so catchy, hype song I think it will take a while to grow old and even then probably will bop to it when it comes in the playlist

this shows that not all kpop groups really need a rapper or someone belting a random highnote in a song

As someone who wasn't super impressed with ENHYPEN's music up to this point, Drunk-Dazed absolutely blew me away. That chorus is everything, it never gets old. Definitely one of the best title tracks to be released so far this year.

I loved this song!! I’m glad y’all liked it!!! I wasn’t a fun of their first song, but this song alone was able to turn me into a fan. It’s absolutely spectacular, I think, and it’ll probably be one of my favorite songs of the year.

I actually loved the outro, probably one of my favorite parts of the song. I agree that it didn't feel satisfying but I think that's what just made it seem so perfect. It felt kind of incomplete but I loved the melody line of it.

ENHYPEN is consisting of 7 members and they are 15-19 years old teenagers with mostly short trained members. Heeseung (01 liner), Jay (02 liner), Jake (02 liner), Sunghoon (02 liner), Sunoo (03 liner), Jungwon (04 liner), Ni-Ki (05 liner)! This is their first ever comeback after 5 months of debut. This comeback album is called "BORDER: CARNIVAL". It has 4 songs and and an intro and the outro. You can also check out their debut song "Given-Taken" as well as well! (Their debut album is called "BORDER: DAY ONE"). As they said before, "BORDER: CARNIVAL" is the end of the border series. Hope this helps.

If I'm correct, their concept is vampires! So the party could have to do with the fact that it's a cover for the members--as vampires--to feed on people, hence the bloody birthday party. If you notice, there's a portion of the video where the room is full with people and then the next moment it is not. In certain vampire content/lore, vampires can experience a sort of drug like effect from gorging on blood that leaves them all drunk and dazed 👀 and the red water in the glasses could be blood. Every time one of the members takes a drink they react the same way someone taking a shot would and everyone knows the effects of having too many shots haha. long story short: the members drank the blood of everyone at the party, gorged on their blood on the day that Jungwon turned into a vampire--which is a whole other theory i have--and the werewolves (which are K and EJ, who are gonna be in a new Hybe group) are hunting them down to either kill them or tell them about a hunter (i'm not too sure on this portion, but i think the girl is gonna be a hunter or something) trying to hunt them down

I just want to say, guys please watch the dance practice. The dance in the 2 last chorus was honestly phenomenal. Probably some of the best choreo of all time.

Yass. Even though they only have 2 singles, they are one of the current most exiting names in kpop at the moment for me, great to hear your explanation. Also i do agree about the composition, im not sure how many melody writers can make so much with 1 motif and play around with little twists it so effectively

I knew of Enhypen from their debut, but Drunk-Dazed made me fan! Not just the song, but the choreography is crazy good too, just a top quality comeback from these guys. I really liked the b-sides from this album too especially Fever and Mixed Up.

I actually LOVE the outro. I think that it is a great resolution, and even though it may not entirely resolve musically it makes the song feel complete to me. It is super catchy and gorgeous in my opinion, I find myself singing that part almost as much as the chorus.

i agree i cant' believe some of them are barely like legal age. lol, Niki maybe not even being so... lol. i like that each group so far is it's own thing, and has it s own unique and slightly bizarre world, as well as different sounds and playing with different subgenres.

i KNEW you guys would love this song. enhypen might just be rookies but "drunk-dazed" got me hooked at first listen which is really rare for me, and i just can't get it out of my head. they play around with thrilling yet delicate sounds, the beat is present but not too heavy, the vocals are whispery but not overly breathy, and don't even get me started on the harmonies... and of course the associated imagery fits perfectly, following up this vampire theme that i thought i would be super cringe but somehow isn't. this song is thrilling, elegant, and incredibly seductive. i can't get enough of it.

When you're ENGENE and streaming the song for the Nth time in the first 24 hours to hit goals, the saving grace of 'Drunk-Dazed' was the bass line and Sunoo. Thank goodness they moved on to 'Fever' - they hit Billboard #1 World Albums with that song! (And debuted #18 Billboard 100 and Billboard 200 - pretty damn good for being in the industry for less than six month!)
