... this is their only song done by contract as score for TV series so it has more pop flavor than usual... .... on the other hand, band is very versatile and don't position themselves strictly nu metal. Most of their official videos are top class art, but still they are best live and Daria is extremely talented and skilled singer ...
I discovered Russian metal a few years ago and a couple bands sing in English. As far as SLoT, I prefer Daria's solo band NUKI/Nookie. Here's my favorite Nuki track ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fwK7AK-aq24.html (We Are Simple). My favorite Russian Artist is RAVDINA who I discovered through the band Fallcie, who sings in English like she was from the mid-west. Fallcie replaced Daria Ravdina with Valentina Lavrinenko who also has an amazingly distinct voice. For both these bands I'd go back a few years for the best songs. Ravdina's recent songs are mostly in Russian and audio only, but she also has so many collabs to hunt down. Rabbit hole!
There are a lot of amazing rock music performers in Russia, I want to recommend the DRUMMATIX group, its creator and vocalist Katya Bardysh, she is from the city of Omsk (this is in Siberia). She creates music of different genres and mixes different musical styles, this gang is distinguished by the heterogeneity of the songs, they are all very different. She has clips with millions of views, but I still want to recommend her recent live performance on one of the television channels, because now her work is going towards heavier songs and heavier versions of her songs sound better in my opinion than the studio originals. I give you a timecode for one of my favorite songs, it's called "Tailagan" (Тайлаган) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-68gdin-feGo.html
