I spent years learning how to play all your songs when I was a child. Between the ages of 14-16 (12-14 years ago) I dedicated hours and hours of my days learning how to play all your originals, as well as killrbuckeye. I was never able to be as good as you but I think it will always be some of the best memories of my life. I hope you and killrbuckeye get to see this comment.
POV - It's 2023 I found my 13 - 14 year old iPod Classic. Started scrolling through the old tracks and got reminded of this beauty. That is the only word I can think of to describe it. 2)Spent from 7:30pm - 10:00pm just playing 0:40 - 1:40 trying to get it to the same speed you do.... can only do it at 75% speed if I want to make no mistakes. My respect level for your song writing and guitar playing just rose immensely.
Finn you have been a true inspiration back in a day when I played quitar. Now I'am all about EDM but hey... you are still the best, this song touches my heart really deep. Helps in tough times. It is a cure for a broken heart and feelings. Oh wait there goes the solo.

This was always the best shit before people took it and turned into garbage. early 2000s is when killswitch, as I lay dying, all that remains, used this style. I don't give a shit what's popular this is my favorite genre period, and it's what I will always play and listen to.

I was just watching killerbuckeye and saw he did a collab that looked familiar. Crazy the inspiration this video gave me back in the day man. It’s been a while and it’s crazy to see how far I’ve progressed over the past decade. This doesn’t seem so far out of reach anymore.

I thought the song itself was OK but the arpeggio sequence over the chord progression was stellar. It works amazingly well and technique wise they were perfect, you didn't just blast through them. They were melodic and every note rang through incredibly well. I am impressed. The song is over but I am still humming the arpeggio sequence. The true test of a well written song.

Man, that solo at the 3:10 mark is one of the most well written solos I've ever heard. Not just because it's swept and tapped (although it is impressive), but because it fits so well with the rest of the song. Good job, dude. This song might not be breaking any new musical ground but don't listen to the detractors on here; I'm sure they listen to a ton of god-awful music that doesn't have a fraction of the heart this song has.

My favorite part about this song is the intro. It sounds so beautiful, even with kick ass drums in the back. It kind of touches me everytime I hear it.
@sabbyzzzz I agree. We guitarist have fast minds (well, those that are good anyways) but its not superhuman. Its years of learning the chord and scale shapes and position which trains your brain and muscles to automatically remember. Playing and learning guitar trains your brain to think differently and to think faster so it can keep up with all of the information coming into it from the ears. Its impressive but not superhuman. It takes years to develop to this level,
