I feel exactly the same way, I know a lot of people who didn’t make it to my age and I am lucky that I did. Each birthday is an absolute blessing, Neva!! There’s nothing wrong with aging and learning. I remember when I didn’t feel that way about birthdays, but I have realized how special they are the more I lose people that I love that are all way too young. Thank you for sharing your story. You are so right about our brains being desperate sometimes. I never was much of a drinker, but smoking... that's a different story. I quit smoking back in 91, but to this day I still get the occasional urge to have one. You would think after almost 30 years cigarettes wouldn't even cross my mind, but they do, especially if I see someone else smoking. Glad you put those things from your past behind you, and are still with us. You are a dear friend and loved by many. 🤗🥰
