The common thread in Marina's story is her ability to be open to possibilities. After the initial shock, rejection, stigma (associated with), skepticism of anything new and different, Marina soon realized the rich potential of drag. Such is the power of self expression through Art - in whatever medium you choose.

The first time I saw Marina, Eva and Pura was they were drag babies and opening acts for Manila Luzon in Xylo. Manila was on a high from doing All Stars4. Marina really caught my eye as she did the ballroom dancing, it was so powerful and I knew she would go far if drag race came to Ph. Long and behold Ph franchise came and i saw these drag babies blossomed into fully realised drag queens. What a journey! Cant wait to see more

not only was I blown away by those beautiful picture shots, but the video work for this is so lovely to watch.

I kinda knew Marina and Eva (soon) will appear internationally because they spoke English well on the show. They knew they were meant to be in the international platform.

Back story of how I fell in love with Drag Culture. Way back 2020, I don't have any idea of what a drag is, all I know is the common "drag car race" haha that's how narrow my perception was before. I can still remember the exact moment of how I was introduced with Drag, same with Marina, it was just because of one very short clip of the RuPaul Drag Race episode. It felt like it was meant to be for me to watch that short clip because that's when I found out how beautiful Drag Culture is. Sad to say that people around me still questions why I love Drag Artistry, I often heard them saying "what's that?" "Why are you watching that?" and the saddest of all "they're ugly". On the brighter side, that's when I realized oh my g, I really have a different perspective of Drag Culture, its artistry and most especially of how beautiful EVERY CONTESTANT- EVERY DRAG QUEEN are. I am a straight female but it is not a hindrance not to love and support this artistry. I always love things in the most unconventional way. Also, before my bday wish was to have a Drag Race Philippines and you know what? After a year of my wish, Drag Race Ph was made and that was the best bday gift I have received. MALAYO PA PERO MALAYO NA. ROOTING FOR ALL THE DRAG QUEENS ALL AROUND THE WORLD.
