Just BEAUTIFUL… 3:33 is the lyrical part, if you’re impatient. 🤗 My 14 yr old son was like: “When the song gone start???” 😂 I saw him in concert as a surprise bday gift from my mom & I CRIED when she gave me the tickets! I was in my late 20’s at the time. I’m 51 now & STILL ADORE THIS MAN & his beautiful songs. ❤️
I applaud artist like Musiq, Maxwell & Anthony Hamilton who use a variety of beautiful black women in their videos! It’s so refreshing to see!! Now if they can start making new music to counter the mess on the radio life would be good!
If I would describe how I feel about myself this song speaks for me, for so long I dealt with insecurities , tearing myself down, and just not knowing my worth. Until one day I decided to love me for me and give myself all of those things I was looking for from a man. This song reminds me of how beautiful I am and how worthy I am. To anyone looking for love externally, please give it to yourself first. Your first true love will be with yourself ( inner self) .
Update: it’s 4 months later and I finally learned to truly love me and pour into my own cup. The ending of one story is the beginning of another just 4 months ago I was in a situation where I had no choice but to choose myself…it was the only way out. No it wasn’t easy but man it feels good to be on the other side. Choosing me was the best decision I’ve ever made 💗💗.
