I just want to say how much I appreciate this channel. I'm from the Midwest so Musky trolling like this is the closest I can come to saltwater fishing but I absolutely love to see you slaying wahoo's and dolphin even though I never get to fish saltwater. Keep doing what your doing. Big fan!
Oh man . Back in early 2000 s we would catch sturgeon in the river and the wildlife folks would make sure they all go back . We weren’t trying to catch them but it happened and they were BIg!
You totally need to do some small mouth fishing on this lake. I grew up fishing on this lake and its not uncommon to drift for walleyes and catch nothing but 6lb smallies. Its pretty intense.
I live right on St. Clair and have fished it thousands of times, last summer I had a 40 something inch muskie come so close to the boat that I could have grabbed it
Glad that you're first comment, I agree with you completely. It damn near gives me a headache listening to those whine. They're bite indicators not a musical instrument
hey josh its aiden bray when you see 1rod can u tell him aiden bray said hi he knows me awesome video by the way can't wait for u and mike to hit the mullet run.
Josh I just recently bought some Gibbs lures and one of those is the canal special and the casting swimmer. What is the proper technique for presenting those lures to the fish from the shore surf?
Why dont you turn the clicker off? Should be automatic when you pick up the rod. With that many people watching the rods you dont need the clickers on anyway.
Northerns fight like crap. The strike is powerful, but after that it just feels like you're reeling in a log. Pound for pound Chain Pickerel crush Northerns.
I've never caught muskie intentionally I always catch them walleye fishing on rapalas big ones to some up to 46 inches, I know josh is from Canada they average around 50 inches up there
I went muskie fishing with Rampage Charters on Lake St. Clair four years ago. We landed 28 muskie, and had 40 on. No joke. That was the best fishing guide I have ever used. He ran 12 rods, and didn't stop working the whole day. Biggest fish was 48", lots in the 40" range. Based out of the Lighthouse Cove in Ontario.
That's really not even Muskie fishing. Try casting those bait with a heavy rod for hours on end. Fishing is casting reeling and working your bait. Not just driving something around waiting for a fish to bite
You use the term fishing very loosely! More like "reeling in". Just like great lakes trout fishing.. Driving around all day waiting for a rod to bend and reeling in a brown on 50lb mono and a broomstick rod vs casting and catching them on light gear like you did with Hatajja
The best muskie fishing on Lake St.Clair, in my opinion, is done with Rampage Fishing Charter. I went three years ago, we landed 28 out of 40 on. If I saw those numbers I wouldn't believe it. The biggest was 48", most were mid 30's. Rampage is a well oiled machine. Perry Pappas
This dude fishes in the ocean. I bet he couldn’t wait to get back to Florida. I know he couldn’t wait to get back to Florida LOL. It’s cold up here brother.
And the muskie would not smack his head and kill himself if you used unhooking mats like they do in uk for pike ....... so much to learn about fish care in America
