MUSKY FISHING RIVER FLOAT!! - Chasing Muskies in Northern Wisconsin with Topwater 

Nathan and I pick a windy day to attempt our first river float for musky in Northern Wisconsin, but despite fighting the wind, we manage to bump into some beautiful river muskies! The amount of floating weeds made it problematic to throw most of our Chaos Tackle baits, so I was throwing a small topwater buzzbait so as to up my chances of catching any species of fish, and quickly found out that was a mistake as the first few hits I got were from pretty good sized muskies that made short work of my under-sized buzzbait. Nathan was able to throw an Esox Assault single 8 bucktail and got our best fish for the day on a figure 8!
