Robby said get em in the net quick but better than losing them .However the longer that you are fighting them the longer the adrenaline rush you get even if you lose one its a longer rush than if you net them in seconds after hooking them does that make sense ???

Once every fall I comment that you have to use the nose clip and your hookup percentage would go way up. I cut off a little on each of the pieces that go into the sucker so it's not so hard on them and easier to get them in the nostrils. Good luck.

I don't get why you still fish live bait, to me that is that the lower class of fishermen do that don't have any skills. I think it should be illegal everywhere like it is out west.

It's because they do as do I like to catch fish. I rarely use live bait as they rarely do. Sometimes, it's just the best way to catch one

There is absolutely skill with live bait fishing especially with muskys. And late in the fall in Wisconsin it's really hard to get them to bite lures. If you don't agree with it then don't use live bait or don't watch the video titled fishing with suckers. No reason for it to be illegal Have a good day
