If earlier books of revelation could be lost, distorted, or corrupted, what makes the Qu'ran so different and special? And IF the standard is perfect preservation, why are there 10 Arabic canonical qirat, at least 37 different versions in Arabic, and why were there 70 readings that were abandoned?

So if you are saying that only the Quran is free from corruption, why is it that Allah and the Quran says that the torah injil and Quran are free from corruption. How do you reconcile your understanding of the ayah, opposed to Allahs. You say only Quran, Allah says torah injil and Quran. Who is right?
Because dialects are different in different regions and someone's slang can alter meanings. But the original concepts are the same. The truth never changes. The "if-thens" never change The morality of the story never changes.
@@BigShepII I get dialect changes, but that's not what I'm referring to. I'm talking about changes in meaning. A small one is when comparing the Hafs to alsusi in q.2:271 when talking about charity. The hafs says he will remove from you some of your misdeeds. In alsusi, it says we will remove from you some of your misdeeds. The he in the hafs being Allah, I am unsure of who the we is or how that we is going to remove sins. Another discrepancy is between the 10th century manuscripts and the modern day translation surrounding surah 3:158. The modern text says "and if ye die, or are slain, Lo! It is unto Allah that ye are brought together." The 10th century manuscripts say that if you are slain or if you die then you are not brought together unto Allah. These are more than just dialect differences. These are entire word changes that drastically change the meaning. Does Allah forgive sins, or does "we" forgive sins, and who is this we? Wen you die are you brought together with Allah or not? These are two different readings within the same exact verse, both of which are claiming to be the true unchanged word of Allah. Either they both are true, which makes one false, or one of them is false which makes Allah false because he said the Quran is uncoruptable and cannot be changed by man. These changes seem to create doctrinal problems and appear to be more than just dialect differences. How do you guys reconcile this while staying true to the teachings of Allah/ the quran?

If you notice "ayat" is translated into the English word "verse" and in that same root word system that same word means "signs". So the term "People of the Book" can also mean "People of The Signs". Now, we have today: Ad signs, traffic signs, marketing signs,TV etc. Billboards. The like. So what they had back then was alot of lost language on the walls and parchment. Lost due to Alexander. Distorted the texts. Destroyed the scribes. Kept what was beneficial to his people. But its possible some group of people maybe preserved the language. Orally anyway through speech. But couldn't remember the 🔤 system. You cant change what is set in stone. But you can change speech.
At what point was it lost, how were they able to distort all the copies that had spread to different parts of the world before it was lost so all of it would agree. Including the Torah and the Ingeel? Since the Jews and Christians weren't even working together?
Also, how are we so sure both the Torah and Ingeel is corrupted IF you have nothing original to make comparison to? Because HOW do we confirm that the Quran is God inspired? It would be like a book being written now saying it is from God and that it follows the Quran but doesn't agree with the Quran and the writer then says that's because the real Quran has been lost..... anybody can say anything but there must be a logical way to confirm these things? Unless the Torah and Ingeel was distorted from the very beginning when it was written down, there has to be surviving texts of the original because Judaism and Christianity had been spread outside of the region. How can nothing of the original survive when the texts were already in different parts of the world?
