So when a Christian tells you that It is impossible to keep the law, they are saying that it is impossible to be monotheist. They are saying that you can not approach God alone for your salvation, your mercy, your compassion, your needs, and your life. They are saying that It is impossible to lead a life without idle worship. Jesus constantly points in his own words to the power of God alone in his life. The prayer that he teaches to the disciples shows this love for one God who is unseen and all-knowing in heaven and on Earth. He starts the prayer corporately, "our father." He then gives all of the power and glory to God alone... Who art in heaven holy is thy name thy kingdom com thy will be done on Earth as it is in heaven. He is clearly giving the worship to God alone. So when he says that no one can come to the father except through him, he is saying that the only way to true alvation is praying in a way that gives all honor and glory to God alone.
