There’s a difference of opinion regarding the use of rennet in cheese with kosher food. You should definitely call the kosher supervising agency to verify their stance on the issue.
Is it supposed to depend on the country u live in ?? I live in UAE and cheetos and lays are halal even cheddar cheese so am i eating haram my whole life ??😭
@@dimah1567 but in that case it's the alcohol in the cheese that's haram not the cheese itself. It would be listed in the ingredients that alcohol is involved..
For a second I was like ‘have I been eating not halal foods?’ But then I remembered I am in a Muslim country and they have halal versions of everything
@@sedraghazawi3236 you should check for the halal mark on the packages, altho I don't think non muslim country have those? Just some restaurants/shop I believe
I learnt something at my last job. We put marshmallows in babychinos and hot chocolate. These ladies in hijabs ask me if they're halal and I just stand there like "uuuuh... do you want to see the ingredients?" And I gave them the packet and they said its not halal. Afterwards I asked them what makes them not halal and they kindly explained and I was so grateful. I definitely learnt something new. Another day, someone asked the same question and I can quickly inform them, straightaway that they're not. It's always good to learn about these things in hospitality imo
@@TONI__KROOS doing it in god name, yes, and you absolutely must have a reason to kill that certain animal, in this case you want it for food, and you have to treat the animal properly, give them proper food, place, kindness, and other stuff aswell, and while cutting the animal, you have to kill it in one cut, thats why one of the steps of cutting animal is well, sharpening the blade
I want to remind you that it is haram for us to make lawful things haram or forbid things that are halal. The consequences could be murtad/kafir O believers! Do not forbid the good things which Allah has made lawful for you, and do not transgress. Indeed, Allah does not like transgressors. (Surah Al Maidah, verse 87)
Muslims in non Muslim countries: Make a thousand enquiries before drinking a glass of water Meanwhile Muslims in Muslim Countries: doing blind dates with food because we have the vegan, if not halal version of literally almost everything💀 But jokes apart, it's so beautiful to see those Muslims struggling to hold on to their Deen. May Allah bless them ❣️

Btw, In my country, we have halal certification. So manufacturers would consider making halal versions if they want to get high selling. Or, if the product is definitely not halal, it would notify us on the packaging/ingredients list. Also there are supermarkets that separate the halal and non-halal products. It reminds me how thankful I should'v been, living in a Muslim-majority country allows me to have everything halal easier. Seeing your videos is really interesting. Please do more of these reviews!

@@ChocolateGatoYou're not halal brother! 😂 Do you worship a human being? And also he's a prophet from God! Nah.. I ask the lord of Jesus to guide you 😊☝🏻.
I think it depends on the county like i live in UAE which is a muslim county so every food there is halal except the bars so when u go to a local market everything there is halal like :cheetos ,lays , gummy bears etc .
Im born in saudi arabia n i still have to check 😭 everything's not halal, most yummy n common snacks arent, you gotta read the warning ingredients if it says wheat then it isn't halal most of the time
Some kinds of Gelatin come from halal sources like Cows (Baqarah) and not always from Pig, so if you live in a muslim country this is much more likely to happen. if you don't then make sure to check the labels
اسلام علیکم friends! I recommend using Scan Halal! It’s worth a try because one time I found out the Smart food popcorn served at my school has chicken! This was shocking and scary but AlhumdhuliLLAH I found it out! Be careful what you consume, even food is unsafe sadly 😨😔
I live in India and I never really worry about these things because a lot of things here have a pure vegetarian green mark on it and that really helps us muslims as well ✨
Not all marshmallows have pig gelatin, so if you want to buy marshmallows I recommend checking the gelatin type even if you live in a Muslim country. Personally, I wouldn't buy it if it just says it has "gelatin" in it. Same with the pop tarts, I think that the gazed ones are the not halal ones (not sure so please correct me if I'm wrong) but they do sell the glazed ones in Muslim countries so maybe those are also halal, I'm really not sure
As someone who’s looking at converting soon I literally started crying when I thought that I couldn’t eat Nutella (from seeing the video thumbnail). Then you said it’s okay to eat it and was relieved.
If you live in a Muslim country all the snacks in the video are halal I cheetos a lot, marshmallows are also good if u r in a Muslim country like Saudi Arabia
You've been converted to something else, so if it's Islam, you'll be reverting, and if you do revert, do it properly so you can save yourself from the eternal fire... May Allaah give you hidaya.
Not sure why animal enzymes are haram. Doritos have mentioned on their website that none of their products contain pork or alcohol based products besides doritos cheeseburger flavour
@@itsminiiiiii if your not sure you can check the back and if it contains gelatin then don’t eat it And I’m sure that Indian marshmallow’s are halal because Hindi’s can’t have pork or beef
Girl. Lemme tell you the struggle, you gotta be careful of that damn gelatin. Usually, gelatin is derived from pigs and sometimes cows. Lucky Charms, marshmellows, altoids, jello, and any gummy candy off the top of my head are a no go.
Frosted poptarts have gelatin. If they're not frosted on top, they should be OK, but just check the ingredients first. You can try to find vegan frosting, or make your own As a side note, be careful of the term "non-dairy" as it doesn't really mean much. Items with that label can and do often contain lactose, milk powder, milk etc, sometimes in reduced amounts. It's the 'dairy free" label that usually means something actually has no dairy. Still, it's always best to check the ingredients
In muslim countries like Pakistan, we have halal certified food so we don't need to worry If it's imported, stuff like doritos cuz she said that it's not halal, then I think we should not eat it
When I moved from England to Qatar I was delighted to find out that EVERYTHING was halal! I could buy everything without having to check if it was suitable for vegetarian.
@@zainabahmed10 yes, I love it here. Life is so much more real and simple. I gave up work after marriage and I’ve definitely had a lot more money in the past living in western countries, but I am so much happier and at peace. Being surrounded by Muslims and having Islam in the culture is so amazing too. Hearing the azan five times per day is beautiful too ❤️
I'm so glad we have halal version of all these snacks in Muslim countries. In Bangladesh, we have marshmallows that usually have halal gelatine containing beef, so we can easily enjoy it.
Matthew 15:11 -What goes into someone’s mouth does not defile them, but what comes out of their mouth, that is what defiles them. CHRIST IS KING 👑 Amen!
Halal just means permissable. It does not just apply to food although that is what the word is most associated with. Halal also applies to actions such as remaining modest, you character, the way you speak and engage with others etc. When it comes to food Muslims can eat mean however it needs to be sacrificed in the name of Allah. If its not then its not Halal I.e permissable to consume. At the same time there are certain animals such as Pig that are completely forbidden by God even if you slughter it in an Islamic way. So you can have beef chicken lamb etc etc all of which are Halal if scarifier in accordance to Islamic teaching. But other animals like Pig or drinks like Alcohol are off limits entirely. I hope this helps 🤗
It's actually fun and rewarding when you know what the ingredients are and where they come from. I had a huge appreciation and gratitude for food that otherwise would not get from living in a muslim country. Alhamdulillah.
I surprised when she said "not halal" because I ate almost all those foods Even I question myself "did I eat haram foods all this time? 😮" Then I remember that I live in Indonesia
Even if you're not. Cheese is completely halal and you can have it wherever you go. Do your own research and ask scholars (make sure you ask them their sources) and you'll come to the logical conclusion I stated above.
Thx you actually showed be items not to buy and I love that you added ones we can actually buy that feels much better when a person just hears everything’s not halal they feel hopeless and think it’s extreme but when you add alternatives it makes it more reasonable
I had a month long quest to find halal marshmallows in Japan so I could eat them with my bf. PSA: Some donki stores have international sections (shout out Mega Donki Shibuya), and some of their sweets are from Turkey, which means that sone of the Haribo are halal, including marshmallows.
I read everything slowly I'm not fast reader so I need to take my time most times I prefer videos in English only so I could understand what they're saying. It frustrates me to not understand especially if it's important.
I have a 2 really big questions I'm obsessed with drawing fictional characters(anime/kawaii/cartoon that stuff) and reacently I found out that it was haram after my friend told me so I searched online and there are mixed result some saying it is okay some saying it is not okay some saying it is good to avoid it even if it's not haram etc. and I'm very confused because I love art and giving it up is like losing someone I love. So basically I ain't to know Is drawing fictional characters haram? Second question I love crochet and knitting and I love making plushies and toys like baby cats and stuff like that and I'm not sure if it's haram since I'm not idolizing them I just really love these two hobbies and it hard to give it up and they have eyes so I'm not super sure if it's aloud in Islam. So Is crochet and knitting haram? PLEASE PLEASE MAKE TWO DETAILED VIDEOS EXPLAINING THESE TWO SUBJECTS.
We're quite lucky in the UK. We can have Doritos and oreos. I always look for vegetarian certification. Certain things like desserts I have to really check because sometimes there's alcohol in them. Aldi is really, really good for making their own supermarket branded products vegetarian.
@@JustFootyBro So changing to Islam is good? And to another religion is bad? No wonder why compulsion exists in Islam. You are not allowed to become a Ex-Muslim.
@@tehreemfatima5030 well, it is sent from Saudi to us actually so- (my uncle lives in Saudi) Plus, there's something called "imports" in case you didn't know🤧
I grew up in a Kosher home and spent my childhoood searching every food package for the kosher symbol. Kids today have no idea how easy they have it. These days there is so much Kosher junk food! I don’t keep Kosher now, but I still feel more comfortable eating Kosher or Halal food. It feels like I am more certain of what I am really eating. Meat is a whole other story I won’t mention. Definitely feel more comfortable with Kosher and Halal marked meat.

She doesn’t hate snacks, it’s cuz gelatin has pork and the chips with meat taste is cuz when We kill the animals like chicken and all we say a certain prayer before killing them
