Yeah it do creates problem. I don't why but apart from technical knowledge & skills gap is taken into account. If you have gap then try to justify that somehow.

@@Singh-Rajveer ok, actually I was preparing for GATE and currently doing Mtech in CSP from IIT mandi but there is only one company that allows CSP students to sit but their top priority is always Mtech VLSI and Btech rest all other companies are IT-based. That's why asking

Communication is also in demand as of now because of upcoming 5G NR and Wifi-6 technologies. So if you have fundamental CSP knowledge as well as Verilog , Digital ic design. Then there is high chance that you can get it off campus

And if you are in M.tech first year , then it is just start of placement season. More companies will come in IIT mandi. May be Qualcomm come for Communication profile only so be prepared.

Only IIT Madras one is sufficient. I mentioned two courses just to give option. Like if someone like digital vlsi Design course then he can watch that. As per me, Digital Ic Design from IIT Madras is sufficient and best

As per me, Core side. As we learn electronics throughout our graduation, post graduation so that knowledge is fully utilised in core side only

If you do not have gap more than 1or 2 year / any financial issue then you should go for M.tech otherwise Training. Because That M.tech really adds value more than any training institute. If you get any old IIT VLSI/Communication then you should push your limits to do M.tech So, No financial /gap issue = M.tech is preferable

@@DeepakSharma-ii9gb For vlsi job Verilog is enough Actually C and Verilog matches Syntax wise. So in Computer science language if job have no specific requirement then C is enough. That too Basics, Array, Loops, Pointers in C.

C is important for Advance communication roles but not for digital vlsi role. Just be very well versed in Verilog. But C is very basic language so everyone write in resume about Basic C knowledge and if you don't learn then you can't and it may degrade ur resume. C have very similar syntax with verilog so i would suggest thoda sa pdh lo C so that basic aata hai likh sko.

If you want to get knowledge only then you can enroll in course and solve quizzes. If you also want a certificate then only you need to pay certification fee and appear in exam to get certificate

You have to check CCMT or Coap information manual & Check there If this branch is eligible for Mtech in vlsi. If yes then you will be eligible for that particular college

But suppose u start ur masters in Microelectronics or embedded side in foreign colleges then their course work must be same...like learning digital , analog ic design as well as any HDL language. And suppose is some admission interview then they will be asking basics of electronics . After taking admission, college academic you need to follow. that's all

Spartan 3 or spartan 6 , something like these you can buy. However board choice depends on what type of project you want to do. So first decide that and they buy required items.

Hello Sai, so u are having telecom industry experience and that is good thing. You must be knowing some communication concepts as well. So if you are in hurry and can work on slightly low salary then training institute will be good. As your basics must be good so join some good training institute with placement support. But if you want to give gate or having good gate score ( Above 650 for general) then M.tech will fetch you more than 6 digit salary job as present time semiconductor industry growing very fast in india. But here you would have to invest two years. So based on your situation and these points , you can decide.

Growth entirely depends of people around you, your team status, your individual contribution to projects and also how's company doing. So once you enter, then mostly your hard work and luck ( which type of project you get like some innovative type which involves creativity) will define growth.

Hello Ma'am, Very first thing, you have to make command basics of electronics as its long time so you must have forgotten So these include digital, analog electronics and network theory. As well as other advance subjects also. Even after these subjects, long gap needs to be justified very well. Like any company would like to know why this much came and you need to make them believe that if you get an opportunity then this case won't come again. And justification of 9 years of gap is very very tough but i think if you get necessary skills then there can be chances. As much i understand this industry it is going to be very tough. But what i can suggest is: Make some queries regarding this in training institutes, ask them prerequisites and if they assures then join after revising basics mentioned in this video. Advance subjects will be taken care by training institute.

And another option is to do post graduation in vlsi But for that you have to prepare for gate and get a good gate score.
