I’ve done the same type of safe but it’s one full compartment. I mounted a holster towards the drivers side and also two extra magazines. One of the first items I purchased and love it.
I was luckily enough to have one already installed when I picked up my 17’ SR5 crew max, I love it because for the exact same reason of being able to lock up my pistol in it, it’s a pretty sweet feature 😏
I've used this box and vs the Lock'r Down or Console Vault, both LD and CV are far better vaults. Both are full boxes, with no division, which allows you to utilize the full space for that helmet you pulled out. My Lock'r Down holds multiple laptops, firearm, wallents, etc. all in the full entire box with either a key or combo lock. The LD & CV also slip right into place unlike this version, which as you said, requires some wiggling to fit in.
I appreciate your videos and this one is excellent. I decided on a competitor's brand though and went with the Lock'er Down 1/2 safe for the Tundra. American made in TX and lifetime guarantee. Keep up the great videos.
I really miss my Tacoma! Traded it in for a colorado but I think my next purchase will be a tundra. I’m very impressed with the looks and the little mods they have done.
Thanks for sharing info. on this accessory. I agree that the center console is quite large. I purchased a rubber maid type of organizer that slips in, but like the security offered by yours.
Just got my Tundra tss 2 daysc ago and it was the only one on the lot at Community Toyota in Baytown Texas (suburban Houston town) that came with a gun safe in it !
Funny video. I bought the same console safe. Love it. The safe is great. Next, I'm going for the ESP rear floor full width lock box on my Limited 18' TRD.
Nice mod bro!! Very intelligent design to occupy such a huge space. Leaving vehicles parked in New Orleans isn't always the most mind easing thing but this thing would be GREAT!!!
Nice, thank you for posting this video, I am going to order one now that I know it uses factory screws; was worried I would be drilling holes in my truck. Just sold my 2010 Tundra dbl cab to my step-son and one of the things I was worried about in ordering my 2018 is the lack of console organization. The other thing I will miss about my 2010 is the driver's side grab handle but oh well, going from an SR5 to a limited and looking forward to all the upgrades over my older model.
Your choice of truck and firearms tells me your a man of good taste! Great video! I’ll have to get one for my tundra... when I get a tundra soon that is!
Taylor Albaugh I wouldn't compare a tundra to a Glock. The tundra is a well designed, attractive, user friendly truck with awesome lines. Glock pistol are square, blocky uncomfortable and have an awful factory trigger. They are reliable though.
Update, I got the same lock box from Sparks Toyota for $254.00 shipped, installed it and it is awesome... Feel much more secure w/ my valuables in the truck now....
I was always a ford guy until I bought my first Tundra in 07....12 years later, I just traded it in on a 2019 Tundra...crewmax 5.7 TSS.... Hoping to get another 12 or more out of this one. I still have my old Bronco and still love it too...but i'm a toyota guy now...great video, would love to find one of these boxes for my truck. The link didn't work for me though.
Bought me a 2017 Toyota Corolla 9 months ago love it trying to find mods I can do to it do you have any good stuff you can think of I can get for it thanks!👍
MR. ORTIZ; I LOVE YOUR TRUTHFUL COMMENT. OBVIOUSLY YOUR MORE AMER. THAN THESE WANT A BEEEES!! THANKYOU FOR STANDING BY AN AMER, CAR CO. YOUR A REEEL MAN.
I really liked this. I've been looking for a way to safely carry my firearm. So I will definitely be purchasing one to install in my 07. But I couldn't help seeing your grille. I've been trying to upgrade my 07 grille and haven't seen a video on my particular year. Where and how did you come up with that one and could you let me now if you have a video on the install. Thanks
Ak’s are a good choice. It’s not the best precise weapon but durability is among the best just like the tundra. Ford is like the AR15, very modern, precision is among the best but requires a lot ofMaintainance to work properly. Sometimes simple dust and few use causes it to jam.
For all the ford comments, Fords eco-boost engine is known for major vapor lock issues. Their fix is to replace parts but not fix the issue, leaving you with major out of pocket cost once warranty is done. Toyota's V8 is tried and true. No need to defend this engine, it's still considered one of the best pickup engines available today. Resale value is just more proof.
I have this exact truck and appreciate loved the video. This box will be my next purchase guaranteed! Can you send over the link for purchasing one? Thanks again!!
Thank You For Sharing Your Video, I Have A 2007 Toyota Tundra SR5 4.7L V8 Regular Cab. Could You Please Recommended An Exhaust System For My Tundra. The TRD Exhaust Is No Longer Available, After Researching The Closet Exhaust I Could Find Is Borla. But Who Knows. Thank You I Greatly Appreciate.
I've had android auto and apple play. The Toyota entune isn't bad at all, I actually prefer it but that's just my personal opinion. I like OTA updates. It has the apps I want or use.
