I have a bizzare combo i recebtly invented... Im 40 Canadian and generally love warm florals not a huge fan of gourmand anything though i get in moods for a creamy vanilla... Anyway.... Valentino Donna born in Roma intense (which is literally amazing) layered with cheap old body fantasies cotton candy body spray (just a bit) I smell Fenty EVERY TIME i go in a Sephora and I LOVE it... I think it smells medicinal, Id live to smell it on others, but i apent so much of my teen years smelling like a hippie and I can't justify the price because it smells so much like just a regular hippie body oil (obviously more complexity!) like its amazing.. but i dont think anyone else will smell anything but hippie Patchouli (is that even a note in there?)
Whelp, I ended up buying Her Elixir to layer with my Black Opium. I don’t have the Le Parfum version but I feel like Her Elixir will make Black Opium a little more versatile. Can’t wait to try it.
I’ve tried love and delina combo and it is beautiful! I mean people chasing me down in the streets beautiful! Thank you for that! It’s also opened up a whole new world of combos with love and rose scents for me that are also beautiful. Ce noir is a definite no for me so I can’t even get to the layering stage unfortunately. 😊❤
I got inspired by this video and decided to do my own combo fragrance and I just mixed Britney Spears Circus Fantasy and Moonlight body mist from Ariana Grande and Wow 😮 it smells Amazing and longevity is really Good. If you have these try it you won't be disappointed it's so smooth and creamy and delicious 😋 and its cozy I think it's a great everyday combo but I think in cooler weather ☁️ it's unbelievably comfortable and fun give it a try. I’ve been layering Rosendo Mateu 5 with Guidance. I don’t have the Ledda fragrance but I may need to get my hands on a sample. I also love Guidance with Black Tie by Celine or Tihota Indult.
Is the YSL black opium a spicy scent? I think I read the reviews on Sephora and someone said it’s giving bug spray 😭 I was interested because I saw it has coffee and I loveee the smell of coffee even though I don’t drink it.
Karina, pleaaaase help me w ysl libre…. So for some weird reason the entire line doesn’t smell like it used to. It used to smell soooooo good like a senual vanilla and absolutely amazing. Now I bought the absolu flanker a month ago… and now the entire line smells like soap… I am so disappointed…. I thought my bottle was bad so I went to Macy’s to smell the scent again and I still smell the soap. I miss the intoxicating scent i originally smelt. Is it my nose rejecting the initial scent?
And as I’m growing my collection I miss the scent so much there is so many combinations I could create but it can’t follow through bcuz of this soapy clean scent I keep getting.
Hey there! Sorry to hear about your disappointment with the YSL Libre line. It's always a bummer when a fragrance you love changes but it does happen. sometimes our nose just switches up. I say put it away for like a month or so and come back to it after to see your reaction.
