Paul. Helpful as always. Do you know if its many capabilities make it a “heavy” plugin? I’m never concerned with how many plugins I use as long as the ones I use are lightweight. Thank you.
I haven’t tested it, but most if not all the changes are pretty basic, which shouldn’t have much impact on site speed. The frontend shouldn’t really be affected as most of the tweaks are backend and are predominately database changes over adding loads of code.
thank you for this one. a plugin that doesn't just have one 'free' option but bugs you on every admin refresh to 'go pro' this also serves the purpose of other plugins commonly used. really mighty.
I finally got ASE working using 5.2.11 But there are plugin conflicts on 5 websites so ASE refuses to display on many different browsers and even Laragon local host. So be wary of this
This REALLY reminds me of when you demoed WP Adminify. Remember that? I got really excited about that one, then found it disappointing as did many. Have you any opinion contrasting the two plugins and/or their developers?
Adminify is a totally different type of tool. That’s more focused on customising the look of the dashboard whereas this is more about functionality and security while minimising additional plugins to do simple things.
Paul, love this video! I see it can disable dashboard items from displaying, but how can we add our own dashboard items, or is it even possible with this plugin as compared to Ultimate Dashboard?
