Great video. Next time I am in a Mac store I know what I want to swatch! I wear the pink liquid nude "in Vogue" by Mac and it's one of my favourite Matte shades! I also love the Mac setting spray. It is a super nice formula and well I am almost out of it but would definitely repurchase it again. The eye shadow shades you recommend would compliment my stash so much and the nice thing is I can gradually add these blushes and eyeshadows to my collection and don't have to spend so much money purchasing other costly palettes to get these essentials.

I'm so glad I found this video. I have also started out using MAC products, especially eyeshadows (because any other brand way back when did not have colors to show up my skin tone), a long time ago. Then again, I didn't have the technique, tools and PRIMER to do killer eyes. Now that makeup has catapulted into this huge deal, more brands are coming out and so many to try out and love...or hate. So I'm going back to my roots. Getting back to MAC. You've given me the list to do so.

Hey!! I'm pretty new to eye shadows and your tutorials make things so much easier to follow!! It is literally just a plain standard glycol/glycerin toner with some mild plant extracts, PEGs and perfume. Exactly the same as any plain 1$Toner, without alcohol, that you can buy at the drugstore. The only difference is the Spraybottle.

A great tip is to use the Mineralize Skinfinish natural in a few shades darker to bronze up the face as well. I am usually a NW10 during winter time when I'm at my palest but now during summer I'm like a NW20-NW25 isch...and I use the shade Dark Tan in the MSF natural to bronze my face and it blends beautifully and looks great! I am obsessed. :)

The prep and prim pens are to drying for my under eyes too. Any under eye moisturizers that u'd recommend? My eyes get so dry throughout the day they look very crepey Uggh! Anywho... Another kick ass video sugar!

I use a thicker one at night and light one at day. Its hard to recommend exact brands cause thats very particular for everyone...but I like Mario Bedescu everything! :)

I'm an nc45 nw43ish and soft& gentle works awesome on me not remotely ashy looking. I think every "makeup" person I know even darker wears this without that problem.

Actually MAC has a shade called Peach Luster in their Highlighter Pens that's made for darker skin. I'm an NW45 and I use it. It's fabulous! Thank you for this video, I love hearing a Make Up Artist's recommendation.

is the Mac Studio careblend only good for dry skin or is it also good for oily skin oily combination skin and I've always wondered about the careblend but I'm not sure if it would help with keeping my T-Zone matte all day

Hmmm I have all of them because they are in my kit. But there's honestly A LOT ALOT of colour options so you might wanna get matched and see them. I usually bounce between a medium and a medium plus :)

Nena Stj yes....as long as your prime the eye with a lighter color these shadows will go on ANY skin tone. I would prob get Rule because its better as a transition/crease color than red brick is :)

You are gorgeous! I would love for you to wear your hair down (whip ma hair back and forth status) more often in your finished look for your tutorials! It totally softens up your face and gives your look that over-the-top B-E-A-UTIFUL polished look.

Caitlin Varney hahahaha! Im TRYING to get better about wearing it down but it like annoys me to feel my hair on my face I dunno why. And thanks SO SO much for watching. Im def working on how Im going to do the MAC lipstick videos but Im really excited to make them :)
