You don’t lol but on the other side if you like it and want it their is absolutely nothing wrong with getting it even if you have every plugin in the world.
Not sure if I needed saturation in a mastering eq. I mean it's a cool idea but nothing ground breaking. The AMEK 250 and SPL PQ mastering EQs has similar features and the Auto listen function on that is a lot faster when going through the freq bands. I'm sure this one is great as I have a few other Kiive plugins but there's overlap with these plugins.
@@whitenoisestudio I agree. This isn’t a knock against Kiive but there is great competition (and for less money in some cases). I have taken a position of not faulting these manufacturers for creating the plugins but I like to call out when there is better value out there.
Cool video! Interesting that Kiive went directly to compete with Acustica, they also realesed an Focusrite Blue Mastering Eq. I would go for the Kiive, acustica stuff is like using plutonium, so much cpu and latency.
Analog Obsession have a great mastering EQ that’s not modeled after nothing but sounding good. Idk like the guy mentioned in the comments. All of these different plugins is getting old there’s really no reason to keep purchasing expensive plugins unless it’s totally game changing. Tomorrow it’ll be another new plugin and another and another and another. I have to admit I love plugins and own my fair share but now all we’re getting now is refried versions of the same shit over and over. I love you videos but I’m definitely not in the market for any more. I’ll continue to use what I have to get the results I want and need.
