People who want a video on how to style high top converses pls like this comment so that harry makes a video! He replied in my comment on another previous video that if my comment gets enough replies and likes, we’ll get a video. Thank you!!!❤
They really do go with everything. My original videos still stand really and you can wear them with any of my outfits that I wear in any other videos I have made on my channel
Any chance you can specify the price of things that you point out? For example, the bomber jacket that made you weak at the knees, what was the price? 😂
Barbours japan range white label has perfect jackets ive always been so jealous. Thank god we finally have the spey and transport jacket in the uk. Also ive been wearing my nupsee for 2 winters and its no longer my style but i cant get rid of it. Its crazy how light it is and its perfect for running to the shop or wearing to the gym as it packs away very small. Awesome video as always mate you're smashing it recently!
The Spey and Trensport looks great. I think the Nuptse goes with any style really. I think a lot of people who wear certain styles stick to it and it makes you think it’s just more for street style but I think you can style it any way.
Barbour sell the white label on their official website in the UK. Also country attire and other places do. Great for skinny people. Normally they're on sale in black Friday week
Harry to be honest im 13 and i want to buy nice expensive clothes but it will stay with me for like few months then it will be small what do i have to do
Cool, classic styles. Missing a bit the classic parka jacket though: not one with fur on the hood, those were never cool imo. Rather the classic mod-style thing in green or navy for autumn. But the wax jacket is a cool alternative here. But hey man, fix your belt! Seeing that belt end hangin down there is driving me nuts :-) Since you often speak about bad looks. Unless I missed some trend here and that's the look you're going for ;-)
If you’re after a stylish but (very) functional rain jacket Harry I’d strongly recommend the brand Montbell (Japanese). I hear Snow Peak (also Japanese, high quality) do similarly functional yet cool looking rain jackets although I’ve not owned one myself. 🤙
If you can suggest some good quality coats that will do the job, last and look good for an affordable price then I’m all ears. I don’t think the Uniqlo items I mentioned are ridiculously priced, nor are the more affordable alternatives I linked in the description
For someone who's living in France (originally from San Francisco without winters), I still prefer "Made in the US" stuff, recently picked up a Filson Mackinaw Cruiser in a insane deal. Been hunting one for years. Finally will put it to use this winter.
Thanks for the great video! Just to let you know that Barbour also offer a waxing service, as well as repairs and alterations, so no need for anyone to be deterred by the arduous task of waxing, as you can simply send it off annually to be waxed. I myself just purchased a women's jacket, so I discovered this service in the process.
You have very similar taste to me. Nearly bought The barbour jacket in scotland last year. Very same model and all. And I bought the uniqlo jacket you recomended in brown a month ago😂 crazy stuff
I want an overcoat so bad but like very single affordable overcoat I find has wool in it and I don’t want to have any animals suffer for my clothing. Does somebody here have a tip where I could find an overcoat without wool that does not cost me a kidney? (I‘m a broke student)
Hey man just discovered your channel and checked out multiple videos. I wanted to say that I really like your content and you seem like a cool person. PS: Your acne studios jeans looks amazing dude but that price kills me haha :D
Depends on what it is, but I would, there's corners that have been cut when it comes to clothing and inexpensive pricing, most of the time, not all the time, I do a bit of research across all price points to understand when I should expect quality and when it's just inflated pricing £300 is pretty ok. £800, £1500 for something that's not even insulated for winter...that's just premium pricing for a brand name at that point.
I'm going to the north of Sweden in February (Kiruna), it's going to be cold; what would you take with you? I'm thinking that my Buzz Rickson M65 won't be warm enough, even with its winter inner lining. As I live in southern France, where it doesn't really get cold in the winter, I don't own many winter jackets. Oh, btw, I love my Bomber MA1 by The Real McCoy's; had to sell a kidney to afford that one but as I have two kidneys, that was worth it. I want to get buried in it, hopefully not too soon.
Well, out of all these jackets I would take the North Face and layer but if it’s really cold then there are warmer puffer options. If your main goal is to stay warm then there are plenty of websites that rank the warmest jackets
Hey Harry, I see you like to wear your black jeans quite often! I am trying to create a wardrobe for myself for the first time and I feel like they are a bit expensive compared to Levi's jeans, for example. Do you think it's worth it in the long run for it to keep its shape and colour? Or why did you choose them?
Yes i have a down coat and after investing the money i looked back over my life and the unnecessary suffering because i thought coats were the same, and as long as something looks thick it's a coat 😭 . Winter is no longer a reason for extreme misery and now i know those poeple that say they love winter dont have loose screws.😅 Other stuff you have on your list are on mine too, but the more technical reasons you have them instead of the style. I.e I'm still wanting a gilet for my wool coats as the open v neck is fashionable but thats entry way for cold winds. After investing money in a down coat and having my life changed I've been investing in more techincal pieces or purposeful fabrics becsuse they really did reduce life's inconveniences caused by fashionable but useless jackets in extreme weather.
Awesome vid and I do Agree with your collection 😊🙏🏻 I do rock the long Winter Daun jacket from Uniqlo and recently added a mid blue Strellson coat. Barbour is nice but somehow I couldn’t find a cut which does suit me. Have a great start into the new week, cheers 😊🙏🏻
Is the nupste worth the money in your opinion broski? Im looking to buy one but can’t get it cheaper than 305€ And I’ve never had a northface jacket (had sweaters and ski pants but not jackets or gillets) I also have a HUGO down jacket which fits exactly like the nuptse so is it worth it to get another one?
These are tailored to the weather we get here. If you live in a very cold country then I would advise you put warmth first over style. For your needs, you’d be better off looking for a video called ‘the warmest winter coats’ or something along those lines. 👍
I do like wearing turtleneck numbers and long coats during the colder season. Since I’m replacing my entire wardrobe, I’m gonna go for better quality clothes
I'm glad you've found some fits with your bomber that you're happy with ❤ That Etudes bomber is right at the top of my wishlist. I already have an Alpha MA1, which I love(d), but the Etudes one totally outshines it imo. Again, another really useful video - I've just managed to get that TNF Denali fleece half price on ASOS, so thanks 😗
@@HarryHas Actually, I'm a 'sis' 😄, but many of my clothes are men's because I don't like the women's versions, or they're non-existent! Plus, I'm not comfortable in many traditionally feminine clothing items because of my 'athletic' shape. Needless to say, I'm a big fan of genderless clothes!
@@HarryHas yea I hear you. For me, unless you're using a nuptse for its intended purpose, (camp side or break on alpine type excursions) it's an impractical fashion item. There are far better jackets and coats if we dip our toes into apparel that is tried and tested in the Scottish Highlands. Want waterproofs? Paramo is your place to go. Everything else is a compromise.
Recently I really fell in love with coats. I bought a short and a long coat from ami. Another short and long coat from cos and all of those are so beautiful
What size do you recommend in the gilet? I'm a similar build to you, a littler skinnier. I usually wear a Medium in most tops but a Small in tank-tops. Thanks!
Love your presence on screen. Any tips on how you’d create outfits around the black and brown down from North Face? Maybe a good topic for your next video. Best wishes!🫶🏼
Yeah, I get you. I like the branding on it to be honest. I don’t normally like branding but it adds to it. They are also a solid brand so I’m happy to wear it.
I tried the Uniqlo "wax" jackets, and while they do look nice, they are very very thin (like a windbreaker almost) and it feels somewhat wrong that the cool wax thing is not applicable to them. Also, Harry, what about leather jackets? They are too cold for winter, but great for autumn imo.
I personally like the more lightweight feel of the Uniqlo jacket. It’s going to make a great year round piece. It’s also roomy enough to layer underneath if you like. Leather jackets are great but I’m very very fussy with them
Hey Harry, was literally waiting for this video after seeing your Insta post. Really enjoy your style of video, feels like listening to a friend over a cuppa. Cheers!
Fantastic video as always! This autumn I will be wearing nothing but my down jacket. Literally nothing beneath it, it's great and airy. Meeting the in laws tomorrow, hope they like it.
