when dealing with a airbag you should always disconnect the negative terminal of the battery and wait 30 minutes for before disconnecting the airbag because they have a power reserve that can still deploy the airbags in the event of power loss
Have no idea why everybody is so shocked that these seat covers are $800-$1,000. That’s a great damn price for how they look and hold up. It’s awesome that they have an option like this for the Tacomas. Go ahead and pay $5,000+ for someone to do them the “real” way. I’ll stick with these 😎
Just installed the all black version on my 22 TRD off road. Video was spot on but ran into issues because of power drivers seat. Pulled seat out of truck to install, only then realized I couldn't incline or fold seat to stretch through so had to reinstall and finish while mounted. But aside from that, they look awesome. All creases came out as stated and it was easy to work the material after leaving them out in the sun before install.

Someone (besides me) needs to come up with a solution to easily cover or replace the door panels. The taco is notorious for the door panels getting beat to turd by just breathing on them.

I’m having Katzkin take out the Black leather interior from my TRD Off Road and install Red leather with black trim and stitching. My friend has gray cloth seats in his 23 Tacoma so he’s buying the black leather that’s coming out of my 23 Tacoma
Jesus christ that's pricey.. I literally went into my local vehicle upholstery shop, and they have pre measurements of my seat covers. You can choose types of fabric, color, designed etc in your seat covers. And I'm happy with mine
@@Prpseats any qaulity products can come from different countries. QC is what it is.. not foreign.. in other words, don't get me wrong, I do like the exact seat covers in this video, looks oem. But I can justify the price when I can get something stupid similar and that does the same job for only $160
I would rather the install be tedious and a workout rather than a 5 min job and the seat covers look like crap... I'm glad there is an option for some really well made seat covers!
Bravo on a superbly detailed installation video! I am curious whether the underside of the seat covers breakdown over time and leave fragments on the seat? Will the factory seat material ever undergo some wear? Curious what your experience is like after a year, two or three??
This is the best video I’ve seen on the Tacoma. The instructions were thorough a and flowed smoothly. The background music was nice and not obnoxious. Put me down for a like and subscribe.

HEAT WILL NOT GET RID OF THE CREASING AND WRINKLES! Flat out not true, their is no such thing as healing vinyl, they’ll continue to get worse. Only when they’re scorching hot will the material be slightly pliable but the creases will remain. Seen this in person on my buddies truck who’s had them through the summer and just rode in his truck last week and the creases are even more noticeable. Poor guy spent all weekend installing them trying to do it perfectly
1. Make the truck look cooler 2. Keep the real seats clean 3. Easy to clean 4. Essentially increase the value I always recommend seat covers as a #1 mod.
If your Gym doesn't have a shower facility, find another Gym. Using a towel to wipe off and a towel to place over your cloth seats works too. Go for it, waste good money on pleather.
Great videos as usual. How are they holding up over time? I’ve had seat covers and a couple over time seem to come loose or like stretch and wrinkle up and have to adjust etc.
@@tacomabeast Don't get me wrong, I love ALL of your content, but for $800 for seat covers you can just pop in new seats at that point honestly. You're 100% my favorite taco channel, and they definitely look like a well made product, but 800 for covers is super steep.

Ya, I looked them up when I was looking for seat covers. They’re way way expensive for a vinyl cover. I say get Clazzio. I got a genuine leather from Clazzio less that that price and the figment is right on. It doesn’t even look like a cover. Clazzio all the way.
I have a 22 Tacoma and a couple of the headrests were a bit smaller than the OEM. Also, how can I get the excess tucked in the back left corner of driver seat and back right side of passenger? Was a b**** on my fingers to try and tuck.
We reccomend taking the seat out to put the cover on it’ll be easier to tuck all around, if the sleeve was too small shoot us an email at support@tacomabeast.com and we might be able to help you with that 🤙
Are there any really nice cloth versions of these seats? I've looked around, everyone wants to do a leather type or the quality isn't very high if it's cloth. I actually prefer cloth, but I still want to protect the OEM cloth seats.
Please do not put it in the dryer. The seat cover will fit just fine, it will just take a bit more working around the fabric. With cold climates we recommend you leave the seat covers out inside your home to get to room temperature.
