I agree with your winter vibe , I love berry and more cool toned taupes. The palette I feel was left out is the Natasha Denona Xenon, I know the haters think its 15 shades of grey but in my humble opinion it is perfection. You have the perfect transition mattes, shimmers, and full sparkle. It is icy winter in a palette.
Same here, but as much as haters I see a lot of people in the reviews loving this palette, just not youtubers. My fav shade is superionic, it has a bit of pink in it and looks stunning on my eyes. Also I think neve has a hint of pink, but maybe it really depends on the person skin how the colors show. On my eyes there is def pink and blue and I remember being little disappointed the colors are not completely grey 🤣 After I while I really understood the whole idea behind every shade and now it’s my favourite palette! And you can create with skift and the other colors on the bottom a similar I need a nude look, which is perfect for the day ❤️ Yes, I am inlove with my Xenon 💁🏼♀️
A nice selection. I am using Viseart purples, cool browns and lavender palettes. I am using a lot of moisturizer this winter because we went through a very cold period then a warmer but super dry period. I have to go with a light hand and a luxury palette or a liquid formula. My eyes have a lot of protection on them 24/7. Maybe I’ll be able to use my Natasha Denona later this month
Thanks for sharing! I own and enjoy quite a few of your recommendations ❤ Also for anyone interested, Natasha Denona is currently having a 30% off Valentine’s Day Sale on certain products and the Retro palette is included 😊 and it also qualifies for free shipping!
I would love it if you did a full eye using Juvia’s place. I was gifted it for Christmas and cannot get a good eye look. It would be great if you would consider doing a look with your top 3 2023 pallets. I always love your looks- you do one of the best eye looks out there!
Glam used to be my favourite (love That's Taupe too) but it has been overtaken by my Lisa Eldridge Vega palette. It's a bit expensive but I love it. On the less spendy side I just got a v lovely cool toned quad from Revlon - it was a new in the UK, not sure about US. I'm going to use that and the ND mini Dream one you showed for travel. Cool tones are my favourites and there isn't a huge choice of truly cool toned palettes out there. Agree with you that Glam definitely has warm shades. Emma x
I really like the Persona Identity palette and the ND Retro palette. I’m waiting for another 20% sale to get the Glam and I Need a Nude palette…or for Alter Ego to come out with their version. Their version of Glam has been sold out for awhile and I’m so sad!
BTW, my Holy Grail is "That's Taupe", and I bought a second one recently. So it's great that you also recognize how affordable and good it really is. I saw it at ULTA without, at that time, knowing anything about it. But it appealed to me since the shimmers and mattes seemed to be my perfect day-to-day color story. I just didn't realize HOW perfect it would be, and the first two rows of "That's Taupe" are worn down to the pans! I really appreciate you giving both affordable and luxury brands some air time!
I just received the ND mini Dream palette after you talked about it...I can't wait to use it!! Thanks for the info; your approach is always so down-to-earth and real! :-)
I am looking to order some shadows for my birthday in April. I am pretty sure the Colourpop that's Taupe and Making Mauves are gonna be 1st choice. I may also pick up some singles from Sydney Grace. I really like her shadows but not into the Palettes as much. Thanks for the great video!
Thank God we are having an early Spring!!!! I'm still thinking that Natasha Denona palettes are just over-hyped. I have 7 different palettes and they are just so so to me.
My favorite winter palettes this past year have been the Natasha denona I need a nude, xenon, and my dream! I’ve been using the shades Nurture and Aspiration from the my dream palette alongside the xenon palette. Nurture lid and crease, aspiration inner and outer (halo) but pretty blown out…. Then in xenon I use Snowbow or Skift on the center part of lid, Nightsky to line upper lashline, and Ebb i dab on the very outer and very inner corners. Just had a hint of blue tint, brings out the blue sparkles from Snowbow. I do reach into INAN for the shade Whisper for inner corner highlight. That has been my go to most favorite winter look!
I am surprised I have so many of the ones you listed. I have the Nabla Cutie and the Persona palette. I also have the Colourpop Making Mauves and although I don't have the That's Taupe palette, I do have the big one Stone Cold Fox.
I've been very tempted by Love's Journey but the neutrals look so similar to Heaven on Earth. I've been really enjoying the Sultry mini this winter. I also decided to try The Nubain Earth palette by Juvia's Place. I've been more into cooloer tones than isual this winter.
