Just ordered these today, probably why the video was suggested due to Google search terms. The length of the wrenches were the final selling point, I was considering just getting a standard tekton set but I didn't realize how much better the length was. Do you use them on non-stripped bolts?
I got the olsa double boxed end wrenches for rounded nuts and bolts they work pretty good never tried capri tools I’ll have to try them I was looking on there website they got some pretty cool stuff
I bought an astro set 7181xl same as these I'm guessing they don't still make them because they were $48 I remember because my coworker at the time bought the Matco version for much much more they have gotten me out of a few jams but I needed an 11mm recently and the set didn't come with one. Not sure I'd pay $150 for them but I can say when they grab a bolt you have to work to get them off.
Look I have complete sets of capri stuff, that I've then gone thru and replaced daily use sizes with better quality. And for not using a ton/ they're GREAT!, but the standard open end wrenches slip , so I'm hesitant on these. Curious! But hesitant. I could see them getting used a lot in a small car/truck setting tho surely!and at least they're not in one of their "space saving foam trays" 😆😆 😂 🤣
As I alluded to in your previous vid. Why on earth should we pay a premium to buy a Mac set that's probably made the same factory. Snappy and Mac both make great tools, but they take the piss sometimes.
