I don’t have any further questions. I just wanted to say thank you for the insight that you provide to us through your videos. The career that you’re in can be very taxing at times and to have someone such as yourself upload videos that talk about this industry while also working in that industry at the same time is always appreciated! Please do continue uploading these types of videos, keep up the great work, and great content as always Kienen.
I owe you a lot Sir! I am an entry level Project Engineer and this is truly a valuable information. May you continue to share your knowledge Sir! Thank You very much.
So glad you included Glazing examples here( not only cause i am a Glazing foreman) very helpful good sir! Most people forget the Glazing Facade encloses the building and its just never talked about much. Also, Doors and security which is in my scope as well. Thank you for the video
Keinen, thanks heaps for your videos! I'm a civil engineering student and have just started an internship with a civil contractor and your videos have been a huge help! I start doing ITPs and RFIs for them tomorrow, so this was so useful bro. Much love from Australia x
Good day! I just got hired as an entry level project Engineer in Japan and I'd like to thank you a lot for all these information. Hopefully I will overcome all the stress that will come to me haha, I am nervous working overseas.
Hi, I am in the process of finding an internship to gain experience. This video has helped me a lot. A lot of my peers has talked about RFI’s with me, and the concepts of them was vague and broad at the time. Thank you so much for the clarification.
This video was perfect for me. Im graduating next spring with my construction management degree and have a very sweet and high paying internship this summer. Im working for a commercial construction and electrical engineering company and i will mainly be doing RFI's for electrical plans. Thanks man!!
My man returns! Glad to see you're making videos again. I've recently switched to the private sector working in Telecom, from Drainage utilities for the municipality and really enjoying the work. Did you have any resources you could share on Fibre Optic construction?
Been enjoying your content and inspiring me to pursue my own RU-vid channel - except on the Bridge/Heavy Civil Engineering side of the profession. Do you ever use RFMs to document contractor requested modifications or RFCs to document proposed corrections to field mistakes?
thanks for the support Matt! wish you the best on your journey. And no, I haven't used that, would you say that's common in your sector? That's interesting to have it split apart, do you know what the reasoning is behind that?
your videoes are really helpfull, keep up the good work. Can you please make a video on "ConstructionContracts ClaimsDisputesFile" how disputes are solved between contractor and owner in real life . Thanks in advance
Whats your best sources to get construction method statements (more specifically building finishes) and material specifications. I just jumped into this field and struggling to search for these. Would highly appreciate a response. Thanks!
Not sure exactly what you mean, let me know if I’m misunderstanding. If youre trying to learn more about how finishes are constructed, it’s just going to take time. You could watch videos on how things get installed on RU-vid but your best ROI in your time is spending time in the field and seeing the process unfold and experiencing the issues.
It depends on your company. Some have programs that automatically do it for you. If you’re just using email you definitely need to have an excel file that everyone updates. RFI meetings with the consultants can help too to make sure nothing is lost in translation
Good day to you sir ❤ I hope you are doing well. Hope you notice my email. I'm always watching your videos sir, and probably you won't notice my email because of your busy schedule. I hope you have some small time sir. I only need to ask a question or two. You are the reason why I pursue this course sir and I thank you for that. Hope you reply 😍
