MUST KNOW Vietnamese vocabulary | Slow Vietnamese 

I REALLY REALLY loved this video you made, there is not a lot of good engaging material for vietnamese in english from my perspective so this is very refreshing! I only have ONE thing for constructive criticism. Maybe you could not only make the key word in vietnamese black but also the matching english word as well? Since Vietnamese does'nt follow the same word order as english it can be a bit confusing for a beginner. Otherwise super awesome video, thank you!

I have just found this channel. just moved to HCMC for work semi-permanently and it is very helpful to hear phrases slowly. I don't understand why so many people from my country say that you can live here without speaking any Vietnamese - sure, you can - but I also want to experience this place and not just live in it Thank you for making these, subbed! Are there particular videos besides this one that are best to start from the beginning?

@@synapseradio thank you! Actually, if you're living in the south, you should check out Learn Vietnamese with Annie or SVFF. Those channels provided videos with southern dialect so it would be more useful for you

I downloaded the books from a 3rd party website, and the audio files from RS totale to which I listen at 1.2 speed every day, and I go through the Audio Companion. I try to review at least one lesson per day. This works really well even though their website is sooooo slow (because they check the validity of the license all the time and their servers respond so slowly). Their sentences are kind of outdated and stupid and not really useful. But going through so much comprehensible input really helps with getting a feeling for the language and building a base vocabulary. Everything else about RS is an atrocity, they should be really ashamed of themselves. Such a big company and so little investment in the product. They didn't even bother to change to a proper UTF-8 font to display Vietnamese characters without falling back to camel case. So bad.
