Don’t forget that the male lead is voiced by Hino Satoshi. The casting must have been deliberate, it’s a Shana and Yuuji reunion. It’s also a Saito and Louise reunion. For non-romantic hijinks we’ve got Kagura and Kamui as siblings and Kevin Kaslana and his descendant Kiana Kaslana. Gonna give this show a shot purely because it’ll be fun to see these two as the main characters.

Like, he's permanently stuck at Level 2 because he can't level up, and he can't level up because his stats are at Infinity, so there's nowhere else to go. So here he is, walking around with a permanent level cap at 2, but all his stats are literally God-level. Yet everyone keeps underestimating him because they find it impossible to believe his stats, especially at his level. Yet instead of doing that, the anime blows right past that in the first episode, making the whole 'Level 2' thing pointless. Don't get me wrong, I'm still going to watch this until the very end and enjoy the hell out of it, I'm just shaking my head at the title.

​@@ChakatStripedfurthe title says "Level 2 Cheat Powers", meaning that all the skills he gets are at Level 2, and no more than that. Even though he is over LV 300, everything he has came from LV 2, hence the title.

My point is that the anime is directing your focus solely on Level 2 by putting that in the title, making you expect that he's going to be that way throughout the entire anime just with super cheat powers (like _"My Unique Skill Makes Me OP even at Level 1"_ which kept the MC at level one *permanently*, yet still gave him an overpowered skill as well as giving him an extra 'cheat' .) They could've done that with this anime quite easily and it would've taken nothing away, yet they did this which makes the title useless.

Anime that are based on light novels tend to have such long and elaborate names. Not sure why light novel authors do this. Maybe they want the title to reveal a lot about the plot and get readers' attention.

From their perspective he was the equivalent of a strange guy in a white van offering free candy to kids at the park. A complete stranger to the guild claiming to be an absolute novice going up to the seemingly defenseless small girl and saying he’ll use legendary magic to help her if she’ll just go somewhere with him? Massive stranger danger. Doubled with the fact that little girl had been flagged as odd not dangerous at this stage

@michaelbootes4822 He never said come with me, he said he'd take her where she wanted, also the mc is dumb and doesn't think, yes he did seem suspicious but the girls didn't offer to escort the girl either, also Flio thinking that spacial magic was a level 1 spell was dumb when he wasn't even told about it by his guide until he hit over level 300. Just another dumb mc

@@Diinytro the level of tech. Small groups of people that can't/don't travel long distances like we can in modern times will be the same color. For example, all anime prior to ~2016 had the overwhelming majority of characters the same color unless it was set in modern day Japan, and somewhat near a US base. So if they aren't going to show the poorest citizens in that story casually taking teleporters or at the least, roads at least as good as Rome made, it doesn't make sense having a character stick out like that. Ultra weird that I had to answer this question... It's common sense/historical fact.
