MSRPs in the $180 to $245 (Winnebago Revel)! It’s as if the manufacturers are mocking the public. Ps there’s an induction cooktop in the drawer that’s meant to be used on the counter inside the van or on the fold down table outside. To compare and contrast, look at the Leisure Travel Van Unity floor plans. Excellent build quality, starting at (around) $196. I love these adventure B vans, I’m just stunned at the high prices. These vans start as whole Mercedes Sprinter vans, with exception of the cockpit, are devoid of any interior. Other than adding bump outs on either side of the sleeping area to add width, the manufacturers only add some plumbing, cabinetry and electronics. Assuming the van shell is 80k another 20k in labor and parts to complete…where is the 245K price tag coming from (looking at you Winnebago)??

Well first of all LTVs have a backlog of 2 yrs and they are highly sought after for a reason. Secondly class BS are more expensive than class C/B+ due to them retaining the shell of the van. Third yes, Winnebago is a bit overpriced Storyteller are the best bvan sellers IMO.

All RV's sell for 25 to 30% off of MSRP. This is built into the pricing structure. You should be paying between $125k to $185k using the numbers you have for MSRP. There are still 2022 models on dealer lots that are ripe for lowballers.

For a smaller Van nicely laid out. Of who needs that cooktop or micro? Bring portable ones as desire. You got plenty storage. I’d loved see these vans installing interior fold down wheelchair lifts so say you could get a small motor scooter in there easily, or use it as a deck or outdoor shower platform, cooking platform etc. they are push button and the level you stop it at is where it stays.

Yes I like this style. I have bikes and a paddle board also tennis. Ha! I have a portable grill so that’s fine. I can also bring a second freezer for my meat 🥩! lol Yes more like this would be great!

You could do that. Only catch is the furnace is below the seats but Agile Offroad could move that for you into the engine bay.

With regard to the table...right now it is parked on level ground but when you're off grid and parked on an unlevel surface the table can be adjusted to be level. That's easier than leveling the van.

I’m interested in these size RVs more for long family road trips. Something small but has a fridge and toilet (for the kids) for long road trips.

I love Entegra Launch. It comes with induction cooktop located in the lowest drawer. There is a twin version by Jayco Terrain. The design is actually a copy of the Winnebago Revel. Tiffin jumped on the wagon and produced a better version called GH1. It would be great to compare those 2. Thanks for the video

In my current RV 1/2 toy haulers (it’s what I am calling these) the tire of the bike is going to come crazy forward. You might not be able to use the bathroom. It personally doesn’t bother me to sacrifice the space for the bike to ride a bunch of new area. You could also pull a trailer or your other vehicle. If your other vehicle is a truck you can put the bike into the truck. Lots of options when it comes to toys.

I have been looking at alot of class B & B+ vans, I really want one. Biggest problem - need to sleep 3 people! My kid would have a seat but no bed.

How old is the kid? If pretty young, there's an aftermarket rig that goes across the front seats to make a little bed. I'd have to search the internet to find it again but it's out there. Also if you do not have any gear in the back, a little one could sleep under the bed in the rear with an air mattress on the floor. There's 26 inches from floor to bed in the rear.

I like it, I think it’s really cute, and I love the drop down bed in the back! As far as a cooktop, you could always buy a portable induction cooktop or a portable tabletop electric cooker. Or buy a small microwave to take with you on trips. I would love it if you did more videos on these. 😊

I like it, I would like at least a microwave. I would also like to see more of class B. I've been looking for a future date. However, whatever or whichever I choose will also have to be my everyday vehicle. So yes sir I would appreciate more class b and or very lite TT ... I'm really looking for simplicity...

Also, the ladder is stored on the rear door but needs to be detached and connected to the driver side for climbing. If you attempt to climb it while stored on the rear door you will most likely damage the rear door.

For me the appeal of these types are like a road trip vehicle Mainly I like the idea of having a private restroom . Who really wants to go into these often smelly and often prison style rest stops . And being able to have a good healthy meal and cold drink rather than a 14.000 calorie burger and fries Also the security of knowing you have a place to sleep we've all been driving late and couldn't find a decent hotel that wasn't infested with every vermin know to man .

New Thor Tellaro nearly burned my entire house down. By the grace of God the spontaneous electrical fire started on my driveway and not in my garage at night or while we were gone. Thor is a brutally ruthless company

He's never seen a floor plan like that? Huh? It's an exact copy of the Winnebago Revel floor plan which has been out for 7 years. There is also the Jayco Terrain and the Tiffin GH1 which are also exactly like the Revel. The Thor Sanctuary is extremely similar as well, but has some real differences from the Revel where the Launch, Terrain, and GH1 are essentially identical.

It's most likely an induction cook top just like the Revel comes with. This entire van is nearly identical to the Revel. I'm guessing they didn't put that in the drawer because some people will steal anything that isn't bolted down.

Thanks for the video. Not sure this is an ideal setup for a person 6’6” tall. As you said about the refrigerator, everything looks “super-compact”. That wet-bath looks tiny and the sleeping area looks like it’s for people who are 5’10” and below. Am I wrong?

The adjustable table is an adjustable table because not every place you park in a 4x4 van is going to be flat.

It has a wet bath so toilet and shower are together. Cooktop is portable and stores in a cabinet. You can use it inside or outside. No microwave.

Mercedes did have a Sprinter in regular 4x4 but I think all the newer models (2023 onward) have switched to AWD.

You may still be able to find one of the actual 4x4 versions at a dealer. Looks for a VS30. The newer vans are AWD.

RVs like this look like they were designed for biking by someone who doesn't actually own a bike. A bed like that is only worth it to me if the bikes can stay in the "garage" while the bed is usable. My guess is it does use a portable induction cook top that wasn't left in the RV for fear of theft.

there are a plethora of similar vans from just about every RV company. Winnebago Revel was the forerunner. Now Jayco, Thor, Pleasureway are also copying this model.

Beware. Theses things are assembled very poorly. You will be paying for a pile of parts and systems that may not function, partially function, and are broken. You will be repairing them yourself to get most things working properly. The "dealer" are nothing like automobile dealers. There is not the oversight and compliance requirements like the auto industry requires of dealers. You will be without your vehicle for weeks and months. It may well have additional problems when you get it back. The original problems may not all be repaired. They will tell you everything has been checked and functions properly when you purchase it. That will not be true. Purchased a 2024 Terrain(same assembly line as the Launch clone with different badges). Have been performing repair work for weeks. All plumbing lines and heater hydronic heat lines need work. Leaking water lines. Heat not working due to improper instalation. Electrical system disfunction and non function. And there is more... Do not, Do Not, Ever pay more than a 40% - 45% discounted price or negotiated reduced price for one of these. Pay as close as possible to what you can work out would be the cost of the components plus a fraction of the labor. Better yet, save yourself the disappointment and aggravation and buy a custom build from Titan Vans, Outside Vans, Toureg, Rossmonster, etc

You asked, so, no, I don't care to see any more of these tiny wanna be RVs. Those 2 rear seats wouldn't be comfortable enough for even a run to the grocery store, much less a road trip. And the $$$ they want for these things? Tiny humans might enjoy this. I must be getting too old. .
