Oh, BIG INFO HERE: for anyone who gets one, be sure to REGISTER your machine. By registering the machine your 1 year warranty gets extended to 3 years. Considering it's an electric machine, a 3year warranty might come in handy.
@@judipalumbo Instructions on how to register it and a website link are included in the instruction booklet that comes in the box with your machine. Make sure to write down the serial number of your machine (it's on a label on the bottom/underside of the machine) and you will also need the date you purchased it.
Two years later and I still love my Switch! I also have the Vagabond 2 and it also works well after many years. I use the Switch at home and the Vagabond on retreats. I’ve just always used Sizzix machines and I’ve never felt the need to try anything else. Thanks for sharing your reviews!
I was wondering why the title of this video makes one think you didn't like the machine, that's why you were warning us to watch it before we bought one ?????? But it sounds like you like it I'm glad for that.
I’m in the U.K. and played with my new machine today, I have 2 large 6 inch square dies that I have had for 5 year’s, and I got the first successful cut from one , I left the other til tomorrow , I have used 6 different cutters but non cut near the centre but I cannot fault what I did today,
Greetings to you all. I started making cards at the end of May 2023 and this hobby is expensive. I have been researching, comparing prices, reading reviews, etc. I decided to go with the hand crank Sizzex Big Shot and I ❤ it. We have frequent power outages down here and when it happens, I pull out my camping light and keep rocking and rolling. Maybe later, when I hit the mid 70's, I'll go for an electric one. 😂😂
I stated that I just got mine from Hobby Lobby as when I ordered it, Scrapbook was out of stock. It is a pretty coral color not pink and not orange. It is called Sherbet and it is very pretty. It came in 2 days free shipping. I have only cut one die with it but loving it already.... Something I wasn't really prepared to spend money on right now but reading Mary's review after reading a bunch else where, I had to get it.... I will cry when my credit card bill comes.... That is ok, I can blame it on Mary! No, j/k! Thanks Mary and I hope others that are on the fence about it, when they can.... get it. Great machine and really pretty quiet, alot quieter that I expected. Thanks again Mary! (and for convincing me to spend more money..lol) 💖
I never really considered buying this machine, but after seeing your video, I'm wondering if maybe I might need (yeah right) to get it. You've such an enabler, girl! Thanks so much for sharing this!
Thank you for the review. I am looking for an electric one as my arthritis and rheuma won't let me do it by hand for much longer I fear, but I have so many other things to get/buy first haha I want the black one. I love the concentration on your face at the partial cutting. that was my worry (that I couldn't do that anymore) so thank you
My plates warp REALLY bad. I purchased the large magic mat ($15) and cut it down to fit (so I could still utilize the full size plate) it works great, and I only need the one clear plate with it. I’m able to alternate my clear plates now to reduce the need of full replacement. To cut...I used my red rubber cutting scissors.
Thanks so much Karen. I am methodical about moving my plates each time I use them and putting dies on different spots. I have noticed a slow down in the warping.
Thanks for this Mary. I held off for a long time before buying an electronic machine. I finally bought the white switch and I love it. I love that I can still use by base plate and cutting plates from the big shot as well. Since they are cheaper to replace I will save the big ones for special projects😃
I had already made up my mind to get this machine so this video is a big help. It also gave me ideas for getting a couple of Bigs dies. Thanks a million, Mary!
Very interesting video! Would love a Switch, but when I saw a screenshot from 7 months ago, that these machines were only $213 and now over $100 more, it irritates me! Guess I wait for the prices to settle....or at least for a major sale...
@@marypolancodesigns Checked out HL...doesn't seem they even carry the machine any longer. Looked at Craft Direct..$280, no tax & free shipping. I just don't know this company though...
I was lucky enough to get the pink machine as soon as it was released. Signed up for the notify me when it was on the coming soon area. Such a wonderful machine ❤️❤️❤️
Before you spend your money, look at the warranty. You will invalidate the warranty if you use "incompatible" products. This term is not defined in the warranty with any examples and could be used to mean any non-Sizzix products (i.e. the wonderful Magic Mat) and could even be extended to Sizzix products not exlusively marketed for the Switch (i.e. standard cut plates or even Plus cut plates) or non-Sizzix dies (like the Spellbinders steel rule dies). The warranty also specifies that the machine can only be used for hobby-entertainment and not for anything commercial. Selling a card made with dies cut on the Switch and even just having a monetized RU-vid review could be considered breaking the warranty. The warranty is 1 year from original purchase from an authorised dealer with an extended warrenty (terms of which are not on their website) of 2 years if you register the product on their site (and give them marketing data). Once the warranty is ended, Sizzix provides absolutely nothing, even at personal expense, to service their products. I recently broke part of the the handle on my Big Shot Plus that is more then 3 years old (I think 5) and their response was "maybe you should think about getting a new machine" even though the machine works perfectly fine (hopefully the repair we did to the handle will work for a few years). I like that the Switch does the bigger Plus dies ('cause I have a bunch from Tonic Studios) and the thick steel rule (I also have a bunch both from Sizzix and Spellbinders), I just wish they had better options for long-term support and don't contribute to the 'throw-away' economy with their policies. I understand they want to sell the equipment, but I'm sure the machines aren't the bulk of their business anyway (and I suspect they might even be a bit of a loss-leader).
AMAZING information! Thank you for sharing this! I will always keep one manual on hand JUST in case. Also if the power goes out, I will craft by candle.
Great job. Love this machine. You did not mention the additional cutting pads. The precision plate makes all intricate dies perfectly. It is one of the plates that solves a myriad of problems. Love the switch.
Thanks Mary. My Switch is on the way and I’m so relieved to watch your video to confirm I have made the right decision. I have a Big Shot and find it tedious to use. (I guess I’m just lazy) I’m really hoping that the Switch will manage some of my dies that I really struggle getting a good result with.
I love my new Switch machine and was able to get it for a great price the day Tim showed his live on his RU-vid channel. I love it and it's performed great EXCEPT Sizzix has not released a crease pad that works with it yet. I was very frustrated trying to run a TH Bigz L 3-D star die through it and it kept cutting the score lines. I tried all my platforms and all my plates. Needless to say I wasn't a happy camper but knew I still have my Big Shot Pro (which doesn't have enough pressure all over for intricate dies) which cuts AND SCORES that die beautifully. Sizzix is coming out with a new crease pad that will fit the Switch but I'm not sure when. Other than the crease pad issue I had nothing but a great experience with this machine. I got a turntable because of where I placed the machine but it really wasn't necessary. It really is a small footprint for such a large platform and I LOVE LOVE that all of my other Sizzix products will work with it. (Sorry, this was so long.) Happy you FINALLY got yours.
I think the Big Shot Plus crease pad should work...they are the same size. I've been told the cutting pads work in the Switch, so I would think the crease pad would work.
@@laurabuehler Sizzix's website specifically says they are making a crease pad for the Switch so I'm not inclined to order another which may or may not solve my problem. I have the extended crease pad which works fine in my Big Shot Pro. The Sizzix website says all the crease pads are 1/8" thick. I'm thinking the new crease pad for the Switch needs to be a bit thinner to avoid cutting instead of creasing but thanks for your input. And yes, all my other Sizzix platforms and various plates work fine in the Switch. The crease pad is the only thing I couldn't get to work properly and I tried EVERY combination of platform and plate that I have. 🤷🏻♀️
@@marypolancodesigns it's a soft plastic cutting plate to use with the Bigz dies (instead of one cutting plate) that has crease (fold) blades instead of cutting blades so you easily fold the paper for your 3-D dies. It's supposed to stop the fold blades from cutting the paper and instead only score them but the current crease plate is too thick to do the job properly. Hope this makes sense/helps.
Lynn Le Bel Thank you Mary! I just got an early Christmas gift my husband bought me, a white Big shot Switch!!!! I really appreciated watching this video and getting the tips. It gave me a comfort level to go and try it!!
Wow! Apparently its here in Australia! Oh my. But I have seen one cut fabric yet. I would get one. I have a old sizzix a crank handle one that I have never used!!! I also have a number of blades too and never used those too! Please make a fabric cutting video????
Hi Julie! I don't usually cut fabric but will add it to my list; in the meantime, see if someone has done that on YT for you already. It's such a great idea.
I got the pink one a couple of months ago. I absolutely love it. One thing you didn’t show is that you can use your regular size Sizzix plates from the big shot. It’ll take any size plates.
I have an Empress cutting machine and love it. When the plates get warped I just set them under the Empress to flatten them out. It has a magnetic mat that will sometimes warp, so I just stick it on the fridge for awhile. But, yes the plates are very expensive. I prefer the electric cutting machine, because I'm too lazy to crank them threw. Well done, Mary. I'm sure you will love your Switch machine.
I ordered the TH switch through my Local scrapbook store. Love it. Have used the magic mat with it too, no problem and my regular sizebig shot plates too.
Oh, Mary! I have a Empress and a Gemini’ you make me want that too. I have the old steel dies which have been unused because I don’t have other machines! Thanks for a great tutorial
Seriously considering getting this. The crank type is just getting harder as I get older. I’ve had good luck with everything Sizzix makes, and my BigShot needs to go into retirement. Wish you would have shown the results of the embossing folders though. Thanks for sharing.
I had no intentions of getting the Switch. I have a Gem Jr, Big Shot, Vagabond 2, Sidekick and (my favorite) Tonic Tangerine. I was not even considering it! Not. At. All!! That is, until I watched your video. Now Mary, I know I should thank you (?!) but I gotta be honest, I’m just not there yet;) When the day comes when I have my shiny new toy (and my bank account is a bit lighter), I will reconsider. Until then, I will obsess over, find ways to justify and daydream about buying The Switch. Still sending hugs from KY.
Hi. I have been disappointed a few times by how these kinds of machines work over time. For example the Gemini junior has not hung in there for me. Can you do another look at this machine in a few months thanks!!
Hi Mary. Cool machine. I went to Michaels and Hobby Lobby looking for die’s. Even the store managers didn’t know what I was talking about. The real kicker was that neither of them, nor anyone who worked there didn’t know what a Sizzix, or any other die cut machine was. Lol. They obviously aren’t hiring crafters for their stores. What a shame.
I noticed the same in Home Depot and Lowes, meaning they seem to not be training them about home repair. I guess the pool of people is low at this time for specific traits to hire
At last! Something that works across all sizes. I have Bigz Dies as well and it is nice to see that they can be used in this machine as well as the hand crank versions.
I put wheels on my Cricut and my silhouette. It helps move the machines around. The wheels are from Amazon. They have a sticky pad that holds them on, low profile.
Thanks for the review Mary. I also want the TH black machine and liked what I saw when Tim demo it. IT's starting to show up at stores near me, but I'm not ready to buy yet. I really have to think about it. I got the Gemini Jr about three years ago and only used it a few time, before putting it away and going back to my old friend the Big Shot.
I have my new machine and I do love it …. I hav torn rotator cuffs in both shoulder and suffered a lot when I would use my crank sizzix machine but now I can craft a lot and still sleep at night without throbbing shoulders ..you did a great review
Unrelated but do some research on the following they have helped me so much. Msm, collagen, vitamin c , bromelain. These items have helped with pain. Please do tour homework. The only one that i had to watch was the msm you have to graduate increase it over time. Start with a very small amount take with vitamin c to stop any itching. It acts as a detox so if you get a headache cut back. If you start itching take more vitamin c to stop itching. It does make your hair grow so if your hairy it will make it worse. Im not hairy so it works great for me. So your research there are so many things to help with pain. I can get out of bed now. Hopefully you can find a routine to help yourself live a better quality life.
Congratulations on your new machine YAY 🥰 I love it and if I didn't have the A4 Gemini, I would buy the new Sizzix machine. Great review Mary ❤ thanks for sharing and happy crafting Hugs xx
Great review! 👍🏾 I need little to enable me when it comes to crafting purchases. But I've been looking at electric die cutting machines that can handle larger than A5 cards. Thank you!
There was a white one in my local Spotlight so I snapped it up for a birthday present to myself even though it’s very pricey here in New Zealand. No regrets. The plates do warp so I saved up for spares which I had to import from England. And I am still having to experiment with the sandwich for embossing folders. Thanks for the encouragement to try partial die cutting and to use self healing mats. I would love to try a magnetic plate but am reluctant because of the electrical factor. I will try my bigz dies now though. Thank you Sizzix! Ps I did read somewhere to store the plates halfway through the machine to avert warping so I am trying that.
I watched the TH release of this & then HAD TO HAVE IT!! Of course, it was sold out EVERYWHERE online. So, it was ony wishlist for when it came back in stock. Shopping at Hobby Lobby one day, there it was!! A beautiful peachish color (kind of reminds me of the new Saltwater Taffy color lol) & it was $100 CHEAPER than online!! It now has a home in my craftroom & I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!! I have the regular Gemini as well & I will keep it but, I do find myself using g the Switch MUCH more often. The Switch IS the perfect machine!! Thx for your insights & tips & tricks!
Me too! $199 got to carry it right out of Hobby Lobby. I am enjoying it Love using the smaller sandwich from my Big Shot Less time to go through :) And it doesn't drop out on the other side with the smaller either. Going to look into the magic mat. I didn't know they protected. Until I saw this video.
I ordered a white one back in February for $169.00 plus about $18.00 shipping. I expected it to take a few weeks to ship, and that was okay with me, considering the price. There have been some problems with the white ones so...I still don't have mine. The company I ordered from called me last week & said they could ship a black one right away, or I could wait until early May for the white ones to become available. I opted to wait for 2 reasons: 1) the white one comes with some dies and other accessories that aren't included with the black ones. 2) I really don't care if a product has the name of a famous designer on it. The black one is associated with someone famous (no judgements for anyone who buys it; I just don't "need" a fancy name on mine). I may as well get the extras so I opted for the white one. I honestly don't care what color mine is, so it doesn't matter that much. (Although, pink is my least favorite color, so I would only choose that if there were some significant perks when getting that color.) I still have my Big Shot Plus, so I can still craft while I'm waiting for my new machine. I doubt that the company I ordered from will be able to sell them for $160.00 when they come back in stock...so, sorry to anyone who didn't get them when that company offered them.
I didn't even consider that but you're right you get more bang for your buck with the other colors. I got the black one because it was the one that came back in stock. haha But I suppose some would want a designer name on it. Thanks for that reminder
@@karenjohnson3495 Yes, I can live without the extras or I can essentially pay more to get a designer's name on the machine. I chose the extras over the person's name.
Thank you Mary! The only draw back for me is that it is not made in the USA and that makes me really sad. Your review is great as usual, and I do want an electric machine this one may be it! I have a cricut and a brother scan n cut too but so many dies and the steel ruled ones as well, I have that alpha one, love it!!! Thank you again Mary!
Thanks so much for the encouragement and sweet comment. I do NOT use that alpha die enough and it was because I didn't want to pull out my big shot plus. hahah
@@marypolancodesigns I have to crank style die cutting machines but they hurt my hands so much. I didn't know they would be so hard to use so I use them minimally. I have the fold up style but....NO!
Thank you. I have been looking at all the different machine in Australia stores and online and there is not much choice and at the cost was not sure what was the best. After watching your review was bit happier. With the Sizzix taking the thicker dies, it should be alright with the 3D Embossing Folders. Hope it works with all brands of dies. Thanks.😃
Thank you for this you tube. Im so glad you got yours. I’m waiting and waiting for my switch. I’ve had the vagabond for awhile but it’s dying. So I need a new electric die card machine. I love that switch is wider. You gave a real good demo.
I pre-ordered this machine online from a mom and pop store. It was at an extremely good price. They called to let me know that It wouldn’t be ready until probably mid May, but I could get a black one now. I opted to wait for the white one , she didn’t have the pink one. I can’t wait to get it! Thanks for doing this review!
Oh I love this! How awesome that you are getting one! It's like waiting for my new car we just got; 2 months because I wanted a particular color and model. lol Well worth it!
Sounds like we ordered from the same place. I have been waiting since Feb so I figured another month won't hurt to wait for my white one! So excited to play with it. I do so, so much for cutting. Have fun with yours ☺️
@@BelindaBecerra You probably have it by now. Stacey ships them out after everyone goes home. A little bit at a time. That is the way she works. I have ordered many things from that store.
I don't have a 9x12 Gemini but how it compares to the Gemini Jr is it's quieter and my plates aren't warping as fast because of that sturdy base plate I believe. Still manual die cutting and the pressure is great on both.
thanks so much for the great demo. I currently have the Vagabond that I have been using for several years. My 2nd one. I will probably put my name on a Back in Stock list.
Ive hD MY BIG SHOT AND the big shot express for many many years still work great love Sizzix didn't see you do a emboss folder but Im sure the machine would do fine. Thanks Mary great review
Marcy, let her know it's back in stock. If you want to share my link please feel free! It's an affiliate link so I'll get a small commission from it. :)
Hi Mary, once again a super review. Thx so much for sharing, we can always depend on you! I'm interested in this machine, but I've got the patience to wait a bit for better pricing.
Thanks Mary for doing the review. I REALLY WANT ONE NOW, but with having bought my Big Shot Manual Cutter and the Brother Scan and Cut in the last 3 months, I can not buy a Switch for awhile. 😢Maybe I can sell my Big Shot being I have hardly used it. Oh well, just have to wait and see.
I'm not suggesting this for you, but it's funny you mentioned it because I do have my Big Shot Plus for sale on FB. It would just cost so much to ship.
@@marypolancodesigns It is something you have to more or less sell locally. I have thought about it. I hate ebay but they seem to get decent money for their used units.
@@marypolancodesigns ha ha, I have my Big Shot Plus up for sale as well …. I expect there will be more of them for sale as people switch to the Switch 😁
I really , really need the new Sizzix switch But I just can’t justify it at the moment as I already have the big Gemini and just can’t afford to buy something that I have a very near version of already . Enjoyed your review though.
Mary, if I didn’t have 6 machines already, I would probably buy this machine. For me the Gemini machine is a pain with all if it’s “sandwiches”. Thank you for your review.
Mary, thanks so much for sharing this video. Very informative and helpful 👍 I love learning from the experts and especially finding out what would work best for my needs. Keep up. The great videos and helpful tips. ❤
I can't do an exact video because I got rid of the Gemini. In short, the Switch is quieter and fits all dies. The Gemini is much louder and only cuts thin dies, not the steel cut dies. About the same size for the footprint though.
Mary, I just bought a peach one today from Hobby Lobby! I looked at it a couple weeks ago, and it was still there! But they don't have any more. I am also thinking of getting the Spellbinders hot foil machine to use with it, but am trying to have some self control! Anyway, thanks for your tips! The only die cutting machine I ever used was a 24" wide commercial plotter. We used to make advertising balloons and tents. I'm really glad I bought this, only it would be great to have it handle computer generated cuts. Only I don't want to buy a Crickut because it is a paid subscription. Still, I think I'll get a lot of options here.
I’d love one but I have a dog who is terrified with certain noises ( like my heat tool). I’d have to be aware where she is every time I used this so sadly, it’s manual winding for me.
The cuttlebug is not strong enough to cut dies like the new Switch machine. I always cut on a different machine and emboss on my cuttlebug. I own three of them and I am glad I bought them before they stopped making them. Yesterday I just ordered my peach switch. It will be fun to use a new machine.
It looks like an amazing machine. I wish I could justify the price to make the purchase, but I have a gemini jr and a bigshot already and I do not make enough cards to warrant getting anymore at this point in my cardmaking career. I would get it if there was anyway I could. oxox
I saw the switch machine reviewed on you tube and really thought I needed it (even though I already have the big shot). I didn't pull the trigger on getting one. After that I was at a crop and someone at the table behind us had one and it was SO loud! It was sort of disruptive to everyone in the area which is making me reconsider. Do you find how loud it is to be a problem? Thanks.
Hi Jennifer, the sound is definitely something to consider if that's not attractive to you. I don't mind it at all and find it a lot quieter than the Gemini.
@@marypolancodesigns I just got a new one a few days ago and I was so glad to have a quiet one. And your are right it is quieter then either one of my Gemini's. I got it off of Ebay!
Hi Mary…Jan 2023 viewer here….love your reviews! I’m now considering getting the Switch. I knew I would get it at some point, but I’m having more joint issues and the cranking on my Big Shot is beginning to cause some discomfort. Sometime after Sizzix brought the Switch out, they changed it to “Switch Plus.” I vaguely recall Tim Holtz commenting on the name change in one of his fab videos, but can’t remember exactly what the diff was? I think it was a fairly minor change, but do you know? Thanks for this great review!
From what I know, there is only one Switch. The other one might be the old Sizzix large platform electronic die cutting machine but the Switch is a new one. I'm sure they both do the same thing but for the Switch you don't have to hold the button, you put it in and it goes automatically. I don't know if the older one did that.
Wow, this is the first time I have seen this machine. I have the Gemini Jr and love that, especially since they came out with the green plates that you use to keep things from warping. You mentioned the black mats you used , I noticed it was smaller than your big cutting plates, do they make the black mats the same size to match the plates that come with the machine? Overall I think it’s a great machine, can fit much more than the Gemini Jr 😊👍 thank you for sharing
Great video. Great tips. The Switch is a must for me - when I can find it in stock. Also love the large alphabet die but can’t find it for sale anywhere.
Thank you Mary for the review. I have finally found the die cutting machine for me. I love it, although I didn't hear you say anyting about embossing. Does it emboss? Thanks for the video. ❤❤
Excellent review, Mary! Thank you! Now, I will wait a while for price and inflation to come down. Looks like this machine is well-calibrated so it won't break dies and warp embossing folders like my Gemini has. Grrrr!
Hi Mary, thank you for the great review. I love the alphabet die you showed could you let me know which die that was, I’d like to see if I could find it. Thanks again 😊
I saw you at creativation that year, sad it's not in Phoenix because I live here. I remembered seeing the machine then and saying that the only way it could be better is if it auto adjusted thickness so we didn't need to shim anymore. Wouldn't that be great!? Unfortunately things have changed in my life so it will probably be a while before I can buy one.
I have been using mind and love it!! I also use my smaller plates from the manual sizzix machine and they work great!! Is there a difference between the magic mat and a cutting mat or are they about the same? Blessings my friend!!
@@michelegourd5742 A Magic Mat and a cutting mat/plate serve the same purpose - you would use a Magic Mat in place of a cutting mat/plate in your sandwich.
Hello I’m new to the Sizzix world. What weeding tool are you using? Where do you get them? Also do you a video cutting thicker material such as faux leather?
These are the 2 or 3 tools I use to week out my image. The sharp one with the curve and the silicone cup are a must for me now. It makes things so much easier. amzn.to/3KcTsKC
This is a great tutorial. I just bought mine. I haven't used it yet, but will now. Mary, what is the tape you're using for the dies? Thanks for showing us this.
@@marypolancodesigns Thank you. I just watched an older video of yours. 10 Hacks!! Mary, Mary, Mary!! You just help me with so many things. I'm a mixed media artist, and paper artist. Just started making cards. The stamp platform hack, the vinyl on the cutting board, and the CLIP BOARD!! 😍😍😍 THANK YOU!!!
Question: How well does the Switch work with embossing folders? Does it cause major warping like my Gemini does? My Gemini has ruined every embossing folder I have put through it.
I’m dying to get my hands on one and jealousy is killing me 🤣 The other day Hobby Lobby had ONE in stock for $199.00 BUT it was the peach one. I’m not a peach person so I decided to wait until the white one comes back in stock. Thanks for the great review 🤗
@@marypolancodesigns I would go for the black, pink or white but the peach one I couldn’t deal with. As of today HL has a few peach ones so I will continue to patiently wait 😡
In case you like to shop HSN, they have black available and they have their 3 pay option. I want this machine too but I have to wait. I’m holding out for pink.
This video is 2 yrs old. Do you still have the Switch and are you still happy with it? I've been reading a lot of negative comments, but I'm ready to make the "switch" (see what I did there 🙂) to an electric machine to cut my dies.
So glad you asked this question. I do still love it but there are also things to consider as to maybe why. I use the large magic mat from Scrapbook com instead of one of the cutting plates because it keeps me from having to buy them more often. They are not cheap (the acrylic cutting plates) so I find by substituting with a magic mat it helps. I occasionally have to use a shim but that is product dependent and not the machine issue. I love how much more quiet it is than the Gemini and that the surface is so large. I wanted to keep my BIGZ dies so this was my choice over the Gemini. People love the Empress but you have to get what works best for your needs. If you want to check out the magic mats and their sizes here you go: shrsl.com/4nr93
@@marypolancodesigns Thank you. I ask because I'm also looking into the "Couture Creations GoPower & Emboss Machine". It too will allow use of the BIGZ dies. I've seen mixed reviews on the Switch, but I follow you extensively and wanted your opinion after using it.
For me it seems every thing I want but please can you tell me if there are no magnets in the machine or plates as I have a pacemaker. Also, any warping of plates ? Xx
@marypolancodesigns That makes sense. Thank you!!! My Vagabond 2 is still working, but the pressure is becoming less. My next machine will most likely be the Switch. I use my steel rule dies frequently, and don't want a machine that won't take them.
