Beautiful cards as always! I love that you show how to take our simple cards, up one notch! Thank you, for sharing your gift! The craft world is blessed to have you! 💗💗💗
Jenn, I just tried my first flip card for my Mom's birthday. It came out adorable, but it took me 3 hours🙀 Im sure Mom will love it. Please tell me they get easier and faster once you do several of them!!!
Clear, easy-to-follow instructions, as usual, and WOW! chapter choices!!! I don't know when you added this feature, Jennifer, since I've got a backlog of your videos to watch, but it's going to be a huge help when I need double-check specific instructions for a particular type of card. I hope other cardmakers with RU-vid channels take note and start providing chapter links for their videos, too.
I tried this last night and it worked! ha ha My first flip card. :D If anyone else out there spazzes on measuring, I found that if I go ahead and cut my 'decorative' top panel first and glue it on the left, that is my 2 1/8th measure. I was having a hard time getting my circle panel to line up correctly with my card base. This eliminated a step for me and helped me make sure my patterned paper was aligned. I have a hard time with that for some reason.
I love this. I don't have any scene stamps but I have tons of florals that would be super pretty inside. Also I don't know who has been doing your nails or if you're just super awesome at that too but your nails have been totally amazing the past numerous videos.
Both of these are so effective and as you say look much more complicated to make than you make them look. I really must try them and have a good look at the lovely dies which you have used.
Yes, as long as the die has mirror symmetry along its central vertical axis. All of my snow globe dies do, but I have never tried a flip card with any of them. Easy way to tell if a die will work for a flip card is to cut out the shape and fold it in half vertically. If the halves align perfectly you can make a flip card with that die. Your idea is clever.
So cool! I got some stamps last year just after Christmas and this is going to work great for them. I also have some small stamps that will make a variety of types of cards using this style. I'm going to play with this style a few times. Thank you!
That snowflake card is gorgeous and as always you are SO creative! That engineering mind of yours works wonders for creative cardmaking :) Quick question about Spellbinders dies- do you ever have a coppery residue that transfers from Spellbinders dies to your cardstock? I've struggled with this with almost all of my Spellbinders dies and have tried MANY things to try to prevent it (cleaning the die, using parchment paper or plastic bags as a barrier, etc...), but I have never found something that really fixes the problem. And I hate it because it makes me hesitate before buying their dies and I would love to add more to my collection. If you (or any other crafters) have any tips for me to try I'd be forever grateful! Thank you :)
Hi Jennifer, I am a new subscriber. I love this card! You have given me so much inspiration from your tutorials. Thank you so much for sharing your talents.
Love these cards. I just saw you on Gina K’s live today and I must be living under a rock because I hadn’t heard of you before. I’m looking forward to watching your videos.
Great cards! Thanks for sharing! Jennifer, can you please tell me the name of that space themed set that you showed in the video? I looked for it in the links but didn't see it.
This is so incredible!! Thank you for teaching us all these fun fold techniques and many other things along the way!! Not only is this fun but it’s so beautifully done!! ❤️❤️❤️
Beautiful cards Jennifer! I love the unicorn scene card so much. The colors are so well picked and the details.... Perfect. The stitched one, I only can say wow! The see through card base is very interesting. I admire your patience for stitching. I really do. Love these flip-cards. And I do gonna use this idea for Christmas cards to my grandchildren. Thank you for all your inspiring videos.
These cards are amazing! I love the options for that key image too because we can use a circle die literally on any stamp design that fits it!! Makes me all giggly! 🤗❤️❣️
These are so adorable. I love how you used the scene stamp on the first card. I must look into those. I think how you showed us what copics you used is a perfect way of doing that. Plenty of time to get a screen shot. Have a great day Jennifer
Jennifer I love how you make these interesting, more complicated cards so easy. Thanks for your wonderfully clear instructions. These are are really special and doable.
I don't know how you do it, sweet Jennifer! You are a card creating Queen!! Your ideas are endless! And...I have the mandala die set. Now I know what I want to create with it! Thank you for sharing your wonderful talents with us! Hugs 💕~Suzy
