My son and his best friend of 10 years (both 16 years old) heard me watching one of your videos two days ago and nervously asked if it was ok to take the bus to Ulta and get makeup. I’m like, “No, I have to take you to make sure you get the correct shade and type for your skin.” Thanks to you, they were courageous enough to speak up and they have spent the weekend learning contouring to make their faces more “masculine”. I just want to cry, I’m so happy! They got tinted moisturizer, spf, natural cream blush, a contour and a bronzer (and thanks to you they know the difference between the two), and setting spray. ❤

Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream in No.13 is my perfect shade match. I shared all my foundation swatches on Reddit a few years back and everyone was saying it was the exact match for me. The Dior shade was hilarious! I love seeing you use Asian beauty products. A lot of people seem to discount them. It seems like because these products have a lighter more ethereal vibe people think they are low quality/no pigmentation!

Cleaning brushes-my Sunday routine is to clean my brushes while watching your video. You miss a week, them brushes do not get cleaned. While watching James, I go through my skin care and decide if I need to swap anything skin care out for a bit. You guys keep me on top of things.

I finally did a yesstyle order…no more American lippies!!! And the prices were soooo good! Saem, holika2, mansly & etude are all in like the wet & wild price range for a lot of lip products. I love a stain plus an spf balm & the $3 tinted mentholatum ones (brand name, no actual menthol in the ones I got) feel like expensive lip oil balms! And the magic judydoll curling mascara was $8! I even tried a couple BB creams, the Asian ones seem a bit more sheer, less foundation-y. I’m in love & this is the easiest makeup to wear and the sensory elements are so nice! It feels & looks so natural & flattering. Then I add big ol’ sparkly American style eye makeup! Best of both worlds ❤

I use the fluffier side of a dry Makeup Eraser cloth. It works well, especially for shimmers.

people not being able to make blue eyeshadow not look old-fashioned is INSANE to me because i wear mostly blue eyeshadow and it's never given me that vibe. i think it maybe could if you use one baby-blue shade all over your eye and nothing else, but even then if you blend it out in the certain way or aren't wearing a bold lip color you'll look fine

I only use powder foundation but lately I’ve been wanting to retry liquid. Problem is I HAVE to set it cuz I’m combo/oily but when I do I HATE the look of it. Idw lots of coverage & I haven’t known where to start but ideally affordable. Perhaps I’ll start w/ the misha. Back when I did use one in was 2019ish & Sephora recommended US naked & in hindsight it prob wasn’t the best for men

I have a supermarket no brand pallet of eyeshadows that works just fine, I can't imagine how much you'd have to eff up a formulation for an eyeshadow to be really bad.

I have very light grey blue eyes. I got them from my grandfather. I am Nordic. But sometimes my eyes look brilliant blue and my fiance tells me. Can certain blue eyeshadow bring out the blue in my eyes? I know wjat i wear brings them out .

This might be a silly question. The “lip color neutralizing” lip pencil Robert used, would I be able to buy the same one for the same effect, or do I need to cater for a different skin tone? I feel like I’m just a tad lighter and pinker (I’m more like a naked mole rat) but I also suffer with that over pigmented lip thing. I’d love to be able to wear lighter lip colors. Any help would be appreciated ❤

😂 I could be 12 and still hate fall out from eyeshadows. I love colorful, sparkly, shifty shades, but I very rarely use them because I don’t like looking like a sparkly mess all night and into the next day. I’ve spent so much time and effort on Glitter Glues and most don’t work at all.I resort to using gorilla tape or packing tape to get them off when I’m desperate. Glitter will never see this face, ever. ❤

Loved your recommendation for Tir Tir and the cushion. That primer looks nice and the pallette isn't bad. Surprised with that pastel usually they aren't that good, but this seems to have a better formula than most. That shimmer was so bright! Never thought of using primer for fall out. Love that idea. I'm so afraid to contour but that looks easy. I have never heard someone say that it was too snatched for their liking. Love it. You know that blush color even though its not lips, might be perfect for the bunny tongue lips!

A 50 miler falls in the ultra marathon category, and you definitely need a hydration plan for that distance, and yes that’s a long run!! Only beauty products I use for running is chapstick, Vaseline (chaffing prevention) and of course spf!

I love watching your reviews because we both have an oily skin type and are the same foundation shade and I almost exclusively wear Chinese and Korean makeup so these reviews are even more up my alley. Funnily enough I also mix the missha 23 and 25 😂 and those lashes are gorgeous I immediately added them to my cart!

K-Beauty and other Korean brands usually have there Makeup on point. Like you cannot screw up with it and there makeup tools you cannot a lot of times you save so much time

You guys need to try the Maybelline define a lush in the lime green tube it's the slender green tube. It is amazing I've been using it since the early nineties and I have still not found a mascara that works as good as this does! I have nots full not long lashes. But it makes me look like I'm wearing false eyelashes. It's only 799. The only problem is you have to order it because it's really hard to find in the stores. I couldn't find it forever until I saw another RU-vidr say it was her favorite and I went and looked it up and you can order it.
