That's my neighbourhood in the Philippines! I can't wait to finally move back in Philippines! They sell sourdough, crumpets and herbs that you don't normally see in most groceries.
Definitely, I will try to go there when I'm home. Thanks for trying a lot of food at Salcedo Market and helping out small businesses. Stay safe always.
Nowadays leisurely life for tourists and locals shifted from Makati Business district to BGC in Taguig City, 3-5 kms distant east through EDSA. More locals during weekends spent time at BGC, except that Makati had the infamous red light district while BGC none. But Makati is larger than BGC in area, had more natural wonders, miniature forests and tree-lined recreational parks, & variety of cheap foodstands to choose.
You're great in what you are doing Zane! I lived in Makati for 25 years then travel back and forth every two years but never have seen these hidden gems in Metro Manila. Thanks for showing these to us!
@@bighand1530 It was a military camp. We grew up there, playing in the shooting range and collecting spiders in the military hospital. We have very good memories there.
Wow, I must say, your content about the Philippines and your partner is really something else! I mean, who wouldn't want to watch you explore the local markets and share those heartfelt moments? It's truly captivating stuff, almost as good as a travel brochure. Now, speaking of captivating, let me tell you about my last trip to the Philippines. I was living it up with the most glamorous ladies of the night and escorts you could ever imagine. Every night was a new adventure, filled with champagne, laughter, and unforgettable memories. I mean, I don't want to brag, but I think I've got this whole Philippines experience down to an art form. But hey, don't let my wild party life distract you from your vlogging journey. Keep up the good work with those market tours and relationship insights. I'm sure there are people out there who find it just as thrilling as my nights out on the town. Keep it up, champ!

The Salcedo weekend market is a must see when you are in Ph. Numerous delicacies in one place. I can see it has expanded to sorrounding streets when it used to be only in the park. Good to see you are enjoying the experience Zane.
Thanks for your vlogs, Zane. I find them genuine, easy-going, unpretentious, nice-and-light. Many of the places you explore could also be my choices (but definitely NO Dark Alleys or Crazy Crowds, 😳 lol). ... For an hour or so today, you took me "there", and my homesick heart is surely satisfied and most grateful. 😢 😊 SAFE trails, ZANE!!
