Is this near Kyoto University? I may attend there in 2021 (schools have not been arranged yet but this is what my advisors told me). Very beautiful area and the soba looked delicious!!!!!!! Now I’m hungry so I’m making kuri gohan while chestnuts are in season since I don’t have soba. Thanks Shinichi, I love this channel ❤️❤️

Oh my goodness! Both bowls of soba looked amazing! Such comfort food, on a cold day. I loved how the fu was the color of fall and shaped like a momiji-my absolute favorite Japanese leaf! My most fondest memory of visiting a Kyoto, is Kinkakuji, and the fall colors of the momiji. I truly cannot wait to visit with my boys, one day. Thank you so much for always taking us, on amazing journey’s throughout Japan! ♥️

I love these videos where you are showcasing the wonderful sights and food, especially the ambient sounds. I appreciate being able to focus on the people and the natural surroundings without extra music layered on top. Very relaxing! I also like the occasional glimpses of Satoshi!

Another wonderful video, and some fond memories. Visited the Kinkakuji couple of days before the 15th of August, my last day in Kyoto. I missed the bonfire festival, but I do remember how stunning the pavilion was, and how lush the gardens were. In autumn is so much more beautiful. Probably one of my favorite places, not only in Japan, but out of all the places I've visited. ...didn't get the wagashi though. Quite regret that!

Love these vids, Shinichi. I keep forgetting Japanese outside Tokyo sit like real Asians-the "Asian squat" with tatami....as an American, I am too used to soft chairs haha. Anyway, the soba looked yummy, I LOVE LOVE all noodles and pasta types. I love the background Americans talking lol...makes me almost feel like I am there with you guys! nice views of the temple

When you go out to eat at a public place expect to hear other people talking and eating ,,,,,,,,how dare other people chat and enjoy their meal while they're out at a restaurant,,,,,,ridiculous comment,,,btw how do you know they're american they could be Canadian or many others.......smh
