🍽️ JAMMU EPISODE 3: Ultimate Veg Food Tour - Kaladi Kulcha, Dosa, Puri Chole & More! 🍽️

🛑 STOP 1: ZAMIDARA DHABA - Puri Chole
Our first stop on this exciting journey brings us to the iconic Zamidara Dhaba, a popular spot known for its authentic North Indian cuisine. Here, we tried their much-loved Puri Chole, a classic dish that is a breakfast staple in Jammu. The puris were light and fluffy, perfectly complementing the spicy and tangy chole. The explosion of flavors made this dish the perfect way to kickstart our veg food tour!
🍽️ What we tried:
Puri Chole: Fluffy, golden puris paired with a flavorful chole (chickpea curry).
Our take: The puris were wonderfully crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the chole was a perfect balance of spice and tanginess - an absolute treat!
🛑 STOP 2: PHELEWANS - Kaladi Kulcha
Next, we headed over to Phelewans Restro, where we indulged in the famous Kaladi Kulcha. Kaladi is a traditional cheese found in Jammu, and when combined with the crispy kulcha, it creates an unforgettable experience. This dish was a true highlight of the tour - the rich, creamy texture of the Kaladi blended perfectly with the soft and crispy kulcha, giving it a distinct flavor unlike any other.

Kaladi Kulcha: A crispy kulcha stuffed with traditional Kaladi cheese, served with spicy chole.
Our take: The combination of creamy Kaladi and the crunchy kulcha made this dish truly memorable. A must-try for anyone visiting Jammu!
🛑 STOP 3: - Dosa and Veg Main Course
For our final stop, we visited a well-known local spot that specializes in South Indian cuisine, and we couldn’t resist trying their Masala Dosa. Crispy on the outside and filled with a delicious spiced potato filling, the dosa was served with tangy sambar and coconut chutney - a true South Indian treat. Alongside the dosa, we also sampled a variety of Veg Main Course dishes that were full of flavor, making this stop a delightful finale to our food tour.

Masala Dosa: A crispy, golden dosa stuffed with flavorful spiced potatoes, served with sambar and chutneys.
Veg Main Course: A selection of vegetable curries, each prepared with unique spices, served with soft chapatis and fragrant basmati rice.
🍴 Our take: The dosa was crisp and well-seasoned, and the sambar had the perfect tang to balance the flavors. The veg main course was equally impressive, with a variety of dishes that showcased the versatility of vegetarian cuisine.
