Ummm..he didn’t introduce western music in Iran,western music including rock music was introduced in Iran in the 70s ,its just that after the revolution all the singers fled abroad and Iran got drained from musicians for quite a while until the government began to loosen up a little

Great reaction! I think, as you mentioned yourself, it's about time you learnt the language. You can start by saying "Baba aab daad = Dad/Father gave water". At least, that was the first sentence we learnt to write in our Persian language class in school. It can't be that difficult, even 2-3 year old Iranian kids can speak it :D. But jokes aside, It is surely going to be a hard language to learn for you, but probably worth it.

Hi Schnell, I think he is coming to Toronto and I think his tickets are available. You can check with Iranian stores if you are interested, they are mostly located in Richmond Hill and also North York (On Yonge st, Just south of Steeles Ave ). Have a good one!!!

Dear friend, every time I listen to sirvans song, tanham nazar, and to Googoosh´s song, nagoo bedrood, and Mohsen´s behet gol midam, and Sattar´s akharin talash, and Habib´s songs marde tanhaye shab, shalaye man and madar, which means mother, I just cry a river.
